We moved to Nevada, this was supposed to be nerve wracking! Carissa and her team of hard working young men mad this a easy breezy move. The driver was able to maneuver our steep and difficult drive way, saving us over $1000 dollars by not needing to truck everything up to their larger truck. They came into the house in a very organized way; wrapped all the delicate stuff up, moved it into their truck. It was like they were playing Tetris. The next day they arrived early in the morning to unload. They put together tables and beds, placed all the boxes where we needed them. Nothing arrived broken

We used Cal-Safe Movers recently (late June) on our move from south country to north county. The two gentlemen, Frederick & Nathan, we're professional and efficient. They wrapped and padded and loaded and did it all with a smile and energetic attitude. Even made sure to clean up any unloading debris.
Highly recommended. We have had less than 5 star experiences with some of the other local moving companies.

They are the best movers we have ever have. From our first contact to Job complete they were professional, quick and very kind.
We zoomed all rooms of our house with Carisa to ensure they were prepared for the work effor , when the guys came they introduced themselves , told us their plan and all 4 of them went to work. We had expected to pack all day and load and move the following day but they told us they would be packed and loading at 3pm the first day and they were! We were amazed at their efficiency. They all really liked their job and put us at ease .,

Cal-Safe earned my gratitude last Fall with a short local haul, so I called them for a bid on my long haul move from Sonoma to A.G.. Ron did the bid via FaceTime, which was super easy, and his inventory was detailed and accurate. The bid wasn't the cheapest, but close to it, and was very thorough, eliminating any hidden costs or variables.
Fast forward to move dates-- one day for a team of six to load and pack (we had packed a ton, but it was amazing how much they still had to pack), in just 5 hours-- huge house, garage & shed full of stuff. They were so expert in packing and wrapping

Eric and the team were so professional and considerate all through one very long day moving me from a San Francisco apartment to one in Santa Barbara. I recently moved from AG to Paso. Considering COVID, asking a bunch of friends to come over seemed out of the question. The short window in which to move out of the old and into the new was also an issue, not to mention the 2-hour round trip. I got bid from a few places and in the end, I went with Cal-Safe. After talking with Ron, it seemed a great fit. Their costs were in-line and we talked through an approach to make it easy on the day of the move. Their team was organized, on-time, and efficient. The guys at Cal-Safe are lifesavers! The monsters at U-Haul kindly called us on Thanksgiving Day to tell us we needed a backup plan for our move from Pismo Beach to Los Angeles in a few days due to "a massive equipment shortage". Sure...no big deal to try and find a backup plan on Thanksgiving.

Cal-Safe movers helped us have an easy and seamless move over the weekend. They were professional, efficient and careful! They went out of their way to accommodate us several times and really went above and beyond. All of the furniture was wrapped safely and set up in our house how we wanted it. If you're moving anywhere outside of SLO, I would not recommend Cal Safe Movers. I've never used a moving company before, but I was moving to another town, so I thought it was the best option. My expectation was that I would have professional movers who knew what they were doing. Unfortunately, that's not what I got.
My phone conversations with the co-owner initially were very professional. I described the building that we were moving into, and he assured me that they could handle the job. They gave me a price, and I agreed based on what I thought that I was getting.

Did a on-site estimate at my Shell Beach home and my garage full of STUFF! His crew worked fast and were very polite! It was raining and they came in way under my not to exceed bid! He met my budget needs and followed up after my move!

We used Ron and his crew for a move from one location to another recently. Ron responded quickly to my inquiry, followed through, scheduled extra time which we needed.
