The team from Econo Therm did a wonderful job on our wall insulation. They were prompt and so patient with explaining what they were doing and answering all the questions we had. I used Econo-Therm quite a few years ago for my house in Queens. I was very happy with the work they did, they were very professional and cleaned up after themselves.
I had old asphalt shingles on that house and Bob pointed out two sections under the windows in the front that would be a problem if they tried to remove any of those shingles. I told him I'd be re-siding the front soon, he said to give them a call just before I was going to do that and they come back and insulate those two sections.
Six months later I called, they were there two days later to fill in those two spots.

Just had my attic insulated on Apr 2 201. These guys are great. Arrived on time. I didnt even bother getting a quote from another company. Lou came to my home inspected what i needed. Didnt try to once make me feel pressured for the work. They provide before and after photos. My home will be much more comfortable this summer. I would definitely be using their services in the future to insulate the rest of my home.

This is not a company! This is a great friend you never met before but treats his clients like gold! Louie the owner came to our home to give us a quote, and instantly made a great impression. He didn’t sell us anything. He suggested, and shared ideas. Louie is not a business man, he’s a great human! I didn’t think I could afford to insúltate my entire house, so I only asked for the front room quote. Not only was the price fair enough we were able to insulate the entire two story home, but the crew was professional and kind. As for the result - I’ve never written an online review for anything

These guys were great! Lou explained everything and was very helpful in assessing the heat loss in my finished attic space. He was even able to come evaluate the space the same day I called!. I was able to have the work done only a couple weeks after. The guys were Super professional, very neat, and added so much warmth to my finished attic! I highly recommend!

From the minute my wife and I met Louis for the estimate to insulate our attic space to the completion of the job, everything was perfect. Louis explained exactly what we needed and what he was going to do in each of the attic spaces (2l. The cost was very reasonable and lower than 2 competitors. He also threw in a few extra services such as placing plywood boards in the attic to make it safer to move around and vented both bathroom exhaust fans through the roof vents which should have been done by the contractors who remodeled our bathrooms (2 different ones by the way)

Our master bathroom & bedroom have always been colder than the rest of the house in the winter & warmer in summer. This winter the pipes leading to the shower froze again, despite taking the usual precautions. We had always thought it would cost too much to blow insulation into the wall, but knew the cost of burst pipes would be much higher. We called Econo Therm, & Louis came the next day. He looked at the entire house, including the basement & the attic, visually & also with a device that showed an XRay-like view of the hot vs. cold areas & showed their temperature. Received a quote for attic insulation for our split level home. Price was fair. Did the work a few weeks ago. Very professional from the quote, to the finished job. Crew was very experienced, and it was obvious they had done many similar jobs. Totally satisfied with Econotherm.

Louis came to give me an estimate. Let me first start off by saying 1) he was on time. Lateness is a big pet peeve of mine. 2) it was a rainy day and when he came into my house he came prepared with booties so his wet boots did not destroy my house. 3) He was very knowledgeable as to what insulation would work best for the different areas of my house.

Econo-therm performed the free New York Home Performance with Energy Star Audit, applied blown in insulation to the attic, and closed all air leaks in the attic, garage wall (found problem) and crawl space. Then Ecotherm performed another audit to verify the results.
The whole experience went very well. I actually chose Econo-therm based on the materials that they used and the professionalism of the audit staff. The Econo-therm Staff showed up on time, applied all the insulation and waited for the after insulation audit in case any leaks were found. Not only did the house show a 20% improvement

Econo Therm came out to Insulate my Flat Roof in Astoria. They are busy so getting an appointment as fast as I was able to before winter set in was fantastic news to begin with. The Crew were all very professional and very efficient. They were able to gain access to my roof, create the holes they needed and fill the crawl space with enough insulation to properly insulate my home. When the crew was finished they cleaned up and properly covered the Holes with Mushroom caps to properly ventilate the space.
