As a first time ford owner and new car owner i had plenty concerns ordering and receiving my Bronco. Les Dodd made it as comfortable and cool as can be. And thanks to Shelby Davis following up to make sure care was given.
Walked into Banner Ford many times to veiw the demo bronco. Dressed down sometimes, sometimes in work cloths. Everytime i went inside someone ask to help or assist. Always with a smile. Really good people.

I bought 4 new tires for over $1,000 which I thought was reasonable. It took about 2 hours to install, 30 minutes longer than I was promised. The service writer, Scott, was very helpful and I satisfied with his service. My dissatisfaction came at checkout. I paid the bill with my Visa credit card and drove home. Upon getting home I noticed my bill and credit card receipt did not match. I was charged a 3% service fee for paying with my credit card. If I would of been informed in advance of this extra charge, I would of brought a check to pay for the work. This is just bad business on Banner Ford

There is no service after the sale. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this dealership. In 40 years of purchasing cars this is by far the worst experience.
The first issue I had with Banner Ford was when we purchased our expedition and the finance guy made an error. The finance guy goes by the name " Cowboy". He tried to pass his error on us and made it sound like it was our fault. I had to make sure he knew it was his fault.

Shelby Davis and the rest of the staff were very courteous and knowledgeable of the vehicle I was interested in. They were cognizant of my time and quickly got me thru the process of buying a new truck. Service was top notch and professional! I purchased my second vehicle from Banner Chevrolet and it was the best decision I made. Myron was excellent with his dedication and willingness to assist me. I love the folks here because they are caring, willing to go above and beyond for their customers. The finance manager Rick was amazing when I walked I to his office he was welled prepared to sit with me and go over the documents. He was very thorough with me. Do whatever you have to do to avoid this dealership! They are dishonest, rude and incompetent.
The service department is so horribly run. They treat you like an inconvenience when you arrive and the service advisors are dishonest and rude. They will try to sell you things that are not necessary or even recommended by Ford.
I have been to numerous Ford dealerships throughout the gulf coast and this one is by far the worst run operation.

I bought a 2016 Ford Explorer platinum in Washington state before I moved home in 2017 to Louisiana. I moved to covington so I use banner Ford for my maintenance - I bought the service plan with the vehicle.
The staff are rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. Customer service is not something that Banner teaches or demands of their employees. I've had several recalls where I've had to wait there for hours or arrange for someone to pick me up because not once have they ever had a courtesy vehicle for me to use.

This is a mixed review. First time I went to Banner was to buy a minivan for my daughter. We had already scoped out the vehicle on the internet. We agreed on a price after two rounds of offers and counter offers. It was pretty close to the average selling price. They tried to add in the usual b.s. Extended warranty, yada, yada. I think they did succeed in tossing in nitrogen in the tires. $200. No biggie. Good vehicle, nice interaction, she loves it 2 years later. That's why people buy Toyotas.

I have been looking for a new car and have gone to other dealers who think 1k off sticker and a $500 rebate is a deal. This place was amazing! Not just for the sale but what they did after I bought the car. I received a call 2 days later to tell me they found an additional rebate and therefore could lower my interest rate. I went back and signed new papers and got a lower monthly note! WHO DOES THAT??? Talk about great customer service! Wow!

Stay away from Banner if you want to be treated with fairly and with respect! I was ready to buy a new truck when I walked in, but after my visit there I went elsewhere and bought the same day.

Ok. Here we are, a year later. I traded my 2010 Ranger and found a 2015 F 150 King Ranch. I could not get it locally, and I looked at every truck at Banner, new and used.
So I bought it elsewhere, with 17k miles on it. I also bought their super extended warranty package. It covers all service, any ford dealer, but not the battery.
Last week, it was tough to start. Felt like a battery problem. I took it in the next day to Banner, described the issue, the service tech tested the battery and sure enough, 1 cell was bad. 30 minutes later, I had a new battery, covered under the Ford 36 month

1) Making the switch to Ford was a terrible decision because it has more problems than any of all of my Hondas put together. 2) The service department is a DISSERVICE department that lies about diagnostic fees and it ridiculously overpriced and fraudulent. Get everything in writing if they tell you you won't be charged for certain charges!! Be prepared to battle. I was very clear with the salesman what price i needed to be at. He assured me he could get there. I asked him 4 TIMES if he was sure, and he said yes every time. We start filling out paperwork, and suddenly the price we had agreed to had jumped up. I ask what happened? He acts confused, as if he doesn't understand it either. Had a great experience with Banner Ford. I am from out of area and I found the truck I wanted on their website and emailed them directly. The follow up was top notch and immediate from Shelby. The written deal came together quickly. I had a great experience with Matt Flynn and their sales manager Paul McAllister. I would recommend getting the quote they send you to be an all inclusive out the door (tax, title, registration for apples to apples comparison) signed by management to save some time. We were under the impression we were purchasing a vehicle for 30k .... with tax it comes up to 33k ....We paid 10K down... we should only owe 23K... we were there for hours and had the stuff explain to us more than three times....WELL, Raymond their financing guy "failed" to tell us that he was charging us 3380$ for the extended warranty.... so instead of us owing 23k we now owe 27k... I am 100% positive that he did not go over that with us me and my partner was there for hours never in that time did he ever stop and tell us that we were getting charged $3380 for an extended warranty

If you are thinking about buying a Ford Focus don't!!! 4 years later and I'm on the second computer 3rd control module 3rd transmission and probably 4 weeks lost pay in total. We brought our car in to Banner Ford on Saturday, September 24, 2016 for an oil change. When we picked it up, it had a huge scrape on the hood, which I immediately pointed out to the service person. The service people took pictures and said they would review the security cameras on Monday and call us, but the scratch "looks like it's been there a while".
