Lawrence and his crew were extremely professional and did a great job on our bathroom remodel. They were very reliable and all of the workers were skilled and detail oriented. Great experience with Lawrence and his team, couldn't recommend enough. Work included: tear down/open two walls (one w/ LVL install), moving electrical main, redoing kitchen (layout change), new hardwood throughout (incl stairs, rail), paint, and a few electrical moves. We have a 1940 house, so I was surprised at how few surprises popped up. We had to make a couple changes and adjust as we went, but I didn't receive a single change order asking for additional $ - which you won't find with contractors very often. We had a great experience with Lawrence and his crew. He was upfront and pleasant to deal with through the entire process. He had a small 2 man crew who came every day, with a plumber and electrician coming when needed. All were extremely reliable, timely and very polite while working in our home. They gutted and renovated 2 bathrooms with great results. The whole group made the process as painless as possible, even through the small setbacks that are inevitable when you start opening up walls in a 40 year old house. With 2 very small kids in the house we appreciated that it was the same crew everyday

I found L&R Contrators on Home Advisor after running a google search for local contractors. They had high ratings and everying seemed to say the same things: They did great work, were on time & Lawrence communicated to them well. I hired L&R to do some framing, insullation, dyrwall & flooring for my basement. They did a fantastic job with everything! It was easy to talk to Lawrence and he kept me updated on where things were at. I spoke with some of the guys thorughout the process and they were all nice. They helped us out of a tricky situation in our kitchen. Our brand new appliances were delivered but didn't fit! L&R quickly fixed the kitchen issues while preserving the cosmetic integrity of our kitchen, which I greatly appreciate. They also did a great job drywalling our basement after we had some water damage. Great people to work with!

Fantastic experience. Have already recommended them to three other families. Had them in to do a kitchen backsplash and completely remodel my laundry closet, including taking out the old cabinets and floor, adding a new floor and shelving, installing a recessed overhead light, and stacking the machines. I have included photos of the closet both before and after the work to show how dramatically it changed! For the quality of the work that was done, I was particularly surprised by the reasonable price. Would definitely hire them again!

Lawrence and his team are seriously the best. When I saw all the other 5 star reviews, I thought it might be a scam, honestly. But they are the real deal. They transformed our outdated, ugly bathroom into my favorite room in the house!
Their work is impeccable, Lawrence was amazing at communicating daily during the whole reno, and his crew were respectful, friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great work ethic. I've worked with other contractors and crews before, but these guys were the best.

Lawrence and his team have done two major projects in my home since last fall - redesigning a master bathroom and a complete gut job of a kitchen. Lawrence was nothing but professional, responsive and timely. After many bad experiences with other contractors performing poor work, going over time lines and throwing out ridiculous numbers while quoting. L&R was a breath of fresh air for this new home owner. We had a unfinished laundry room - transformed from a dark, cold, sad place to a light, bright, functional room. We had an odd space to begin with, random wood panels from the previous owner and no ceiling, or floors. A big thing for us was covering as much of our utilities as possible and they made that a reality.

My experience with L&R Contractors was excellent. They transformed my kitchen from a late-90s boring space to a beautiful mid-century/contemporary relaxing, fun place to be. The work included removing walls, moving gas lines, and creating a hole in the roof to accommodate a wall mounted hood, which didn't previously exist. They fielded questions, concerns and requests quickly and completely. They are organized, hard workers whose top priority is to satisfy the customer. And their pricing was more than reasonable. We needed a bathroom and kitchen remodel after a tenant left it unlivable. Contacted and meet with a couple contractors. From the moment we meet Lawrence we had a good feeling. He sent us a spreadsheet and breakdown of the estimate cost, that came in very close. The work took longer than expected, but that was due to cabinets we wanted on back order. The work is done and beautiful. Along the way he kept in touch and added suggestions that we hadn't thought about. Easy to work with and no pressures. I highly recommend using this company and will do so again when needed.

We hired Lawrence and his team after a recent flood in July. They took over for another contracting company that we felt was charging way too much. Lawrence was very professional and responded quickly to what we needed. His prices were very fair.
They did our hardwood floors, drywall, and painting for our living room, den, and dining area. The work was excellent and if we had any problems he was quick to fix them. Ok, where do I even begin?? Three months ago my boyfriend and I bought a townhouse in Arlington and decided to be like Chip and Joanna Gaines and renovate it ourselves. "Who needs a contractor?"- I asked myself, as I gleefully found a handyman who could 'do it all'.

Overall: I cannot say enough about the work done by Lawrence and his team. He was amazing to work with and very responsive throughout the project. He is honest, skilled, thorough and goes above and beyond to ensure that my wife and I were happy with the work he did. Lawrence and his crew were AMAZING! The job was a complete kitchen gut job, new floor tile, new cabinets, counters and backsplash. During the process I had also asked if we could tag on some painting and other little fixes and he was always more than happy to do what we needed. He is very responsive and communicates all the details and really keeps you up to date on progress.
