Cabling and bracing are 2 common forms of structural support for trees. This technique adds stability to trees with co-dominate tops. By installing flexible cables, this method reduces the chances of failure of defective unions. The team did an amazing job taking down a 100' fir tree, trimming a size-able tree limb off a cedar tree, and raising the canopy by 6 feet for another two trees.
The crew of 3 (Matthew, Doug and another) were onsite on time in the morning and very courteous in going through the expectation of the work order with me and detailing some of the characteristics of those trees.
The crew was experienced and was able to get the job done efficiently and completed the job in about 3 hours. The wood from the tree were piled neatly along the fence. They also spent the time to clean up the saw dust

Dominant was really nice. They came over and trimmed back some branches of an overgrown pine tree on my property that were over my neighbor's lawn. Communication with them was very professional and easy! They showed up when they said they would and got the job done quickly and most important of all, cleaned up well before they left.

I interviewed 3 companies. Theirs was the middle price, but I think it was fair and their communication was outstanding. Great service; surprisingly efficient scheduling; well organized; friendly; accommodating to my needs, didn't try to upsell me at time of estimate. Very helpful and cleaned up after their work.
They worked in a fairly tight space without hurting themselves or the surrounding plants and structure. I also liked that they advocated for the health of the tree, advising me to leave one branch which I might have had them remove, and to leave a longer portion of another

These guys rocked it! We had them take down a 40 foot walnut tree that was right next to the house. The three-man team worked so well together, they were done in an hour and a half and were very courteous and polite. Plus, they charged us a third of what competitors were quoting. I wish more businesses were this dialed in!

These guys are awesome. I called them out to remove a fallen limb and to thin out a 100' doug fir to prevent any other damage. I reached out on Sunday, guy came on Monday to bid the job, I called to schedule on Tuesday, the crew showed up at 7:30am Wednesday. The crew (led by Matt, I believe) was super professional (wearing proper PPE, knew their stuff, offered to go to my neighbor's house to let them know they would be working on a tree that extended over their property line, etc.), efficient, and showed me exactly what they had done at the end. Oh, and my yard is about 10 times cleaner

They bait and switched us on the price. They came out for an estimate and gave us a written estimate for the cost. They showed up the day of and told us it was going to be double what they quoted us for two large pine trees and said that the estimator made a mistake in pricing out the trees. We really needed these trees cut down and we were able to negotiate the cost down but still ended up paying $400 more than what we were quoted for. We also hired them to stump grind the stump's and they did a terrible job. I could still see parts of the stump above ground. We later hired a different company

I just had Dominant Tree Service out to top my birch tree that has Borer Beetles and to prune a pine on my neighbors with her permission, and these guys did a superb job. On the birch they discussed overall treatment, aesthetics of the pruning and clean up, and removing the infested wood. They topped the upper 1/4 to a few limbs below any obvious pathology. Dominant Tree Service reduced a dead tree on a sloped section of my property to a safely sized stump. They helped me work with the city to get permission to do the work and then were able to do the work in the next few days at a very competitive price. I was working with another tree service for months on this and was really frustrated that it was moving along so slowly. I contacted Dominant Tree Service on a Monday and by Thursday it was all done. Dominant wasn't the cheapest bid, my buddy said he'd do it for a six pack of beer, but I didn't want the tree to crush my neighbor's car.
It was the cheapest bid by an actual arborist though. The tree had lost one of four main limbs that split at a crotch about 8' high, and the main single base trunk had obvious signs of rot with one more limb looking like it wanted to split my neighbor's house.

Matthew and the crew came out to clean up my cherry blossom tree and to take up the branches on another large tree that was coming over the side of my roof. As always Matthew and his crew were quick, efficient and as polite as could be. My husband and I love having dominant tree service come out to work for us! Matthew and his crew from Dominant Tree Service were fantastic from stem to stern! We needed several dead trees cut down and had concerns about one of our old birch trees dying from beetle infestation. Matthew was able to trim out the dead portions of the tree and leave the healthy parts intact and beautiful. He explained to me how he cut the wood in such a way as to avoid additional water rot and showed me what the beetle markings look like compared to woodpecker holes so that we could keep an eye out for any future infestation. They did what needed to be done, cleaned up what I expected to be cleaned after removing a tree and pruning another.
The reason that they did not any higher of stars came in the billing. In the estimate, the stump grinding quote looked like the price was $240. When I got the final bill, the price on the invoice was $290. I called this to their attention and they insisted that the price was actually $290, and blamed it on the person who provided the quote not writing hard enough.

We used Dominant Tree Service to remove two fir trees that were about 15-20 feet high as well as take off the branches and remove ivy on a couple of larger fir trees near them. Andy was able to swing by the same day as our inquiry and leave us an estimate. The price quoted was very reasonable. We were in a bit of a hurry because we were getting other work done near the trees and Faina was able to fit us in less than a week after the estimate. The work was great, the area was left very clean, all of the shrubbery and branches were removed. We would absolutely hire them

Uniformed men showed up in a timely manner and performed the service professionally in the way I requested, at the price agreed upon with no additional fees, and 0 damage to my home. Cleaned up thoroughly.
Was almost put off by the scary estimator man in flat brimmed hat and gangsta car.

I called dominant for an estimate. They had someone out here within a few days! The gentleman (Stewart) was very sweet and really nice. He told me what all my trees were in our backyard. He was very knowledgable which was fun and interesting for me since we just bought this house and don't know what trees we have yet. The estimate was fair and cheaper than we thought it was going to be also.
I called that night to make an appointment to take down the tree. They got back to me the following morning and said they could be to me within the 1/2 hour since they were in the neighborhood already
