Services
At Water's Edge, we believe our reputation matters, and the way to have a good reputation is to provide expertise, the highest quality materials, and attentive customer service. When we custom-build swimming pools, we take into consideration all of your needs and wants to get it as close to perfect for you as possible.
My father and I started Waters Edge Pools in 1996. Experience does matter and let me tell you why. My grandparents on my moms side started their swimming pool company "Bud Lee Pools Service" the early 1960's. Columbus and the surrounding area had very few pools at that time. My grandmothers office was in the kitchen by the wall mounted telephone and grandpa kept the pool supplies in the basement.
The company we use is Meyco. They have a few color options and there are three different types of covers to choose from, Meyco Lite, Rugged Mesh and Permaguard. You will need to know your exact pool size to order the cover, our guys can come out and measure if you do not know your pool size! We use Olympic paint.
Our team comes to you! We will take a look at your property, get a sense of what you are looking for, talk through the process, dream, and design with you. The pool is laid out using stakes and redwood forms. The form represents the outer edge of the pool shell. We ask that you or your representative be present at this phase for the purpose of coordination between our design and construction departments.
With so many options these days, it is easy to get overwhelmed by choices. Water's Edge Pools in Central Ohio is experienced in everything related to fiberglass and vinyl swimming pools. We can help you sort through the all of the available possibilities on your path to the pool of your dreams! You work hard all week, dreaming about warm sunshine and dipping into a sparking pool.

We agree with all the negative comments about Steve and the work that was performed and him and his crews tardiness or lack of show. My husband has had to do more repairs to our pool after the new liner was installed then before when our liner was 15+ years old. We will never recommend them or use there service again 😕
The ladies in the store have always been very helpful and friendly 🙂

These guys are great. They know what they are doing and they do it well. I had already dug the hole myself and reached out to them to install the wall panels, liner, and equipment. They did a fantastic job. There are a few things left to be done, but I couldn't be more impressed with the quality so far.

If I could rate a negative number I would. Owner is on responsive to calls and when he does contact you very rude. Contractor who installed concrete is being blamed for inground pool ladder anchors that are not the correct distance for the pool ladder that was left. Clearwater has been an issue from day one. Last issue last year was the auto cover was the incorrect size. Installers came to install it around Thanksgiving. Unbeknownst to us the cover was just laid on top of the pool, not attached to the real. When we went to open the pool this year, the auto cover did not work I. So we contacted

This is the second consecutive year our pool isn’t open for Memorial Day weekend, despite having “an appointment” booked long before. One common denominator- we started using Water’s Edge at the beginning of last season. They do not call and tell you when they are coming- they just show up when you aren’t home and halfway open the pool. It could be close the date you were quoted, or it could be weeks after. This year, they showed up very unexpectedly. Therefore, we did not yet have the water/debris pumped off the cover. They decided to dump all of the rainwater and debris into our pool

Terrible customer service and professionalism. Show up and smoke on the job while on my property, rude and condescending when I ask clarifying questions about how the invoice read, and often “too busy” to call back and answer a question or stop by to get the prime back in the pump (we live less than 4 miles from this establishment). They also tried to charge me for sand when I provided sand already for a sand filter change. They charge for travel time and $95+ per man per hour. Do yourself a favor and use a different company.

Water's Edge did a fantastic job installing our beautiful pool. Steve and his crew were great to work with and executed our vision for the new pool. The quality of their work is top-notch and they went above and beyond to give us the pool of our dreams!

Waters Edge installed the liner in our pool in September of last year for the previous owners while their house was for sale. We moved in October. The pool has never been used since the liner was put in. This year after opening the pool we can’t keep the water level up. It went down 4 inches in one day. We called Waters Edge & explained the situation. No one came. After 2 more calls they said they were too busy. I asked for the owner to call. When he did he started off with “I’M the owner & I want to hear what you have to say!” We told him the issue & he said it wasn’t their problem,

My family worked with Steve at Waters Edge Pools last summer to replace our vinyl pool liner. The job ended up horribly and the contract which was written up provided us no way to fix any of the problems which he created. First, the pool was measured incorrectly and so the liner was too small. The liner was not replaced until months after the agreed upon date, even after payment. The cut out for the pool stairs was sealed incorrectly. The light which was replaced is now holding water IN THE LIGHT. The skimmer plate was installed in the wrong size. The pool leaked immediately, resulting in ballooning

I had my pool “installed” on August 7th, 2019. Steve the owner has not told me the truth about one thing. Here is all of the things that has happened to my family over the past few weeks
1. Pool was installed not level
2. I have piles of gravel and dirt left everywhere
3. No concrete because they charged me for it and then told me they don’t do concrete.
4. They tell me they are going to come out and “fix” things and they don’t show up.
5. I have not received everything I paid for- solar reel, solar cover, and safety (winter) cover.
6. I was told he would install a drain on my

When the guy called me he was very rude. I still had them come out to open my pool. All that they did was use my chemicals and adjusted the filter. I wasn’t home at the time but they did not bother to call and tell me what was done or what else I needed to do. I ended up getting my pool opened fully on my own.
