One of the reasons we chose this company to build our pool and hot tub was because the sales rep said they would take care of every aspect of the county permitting needed to meet local building codes. It became apparent shortly after signing the contract that this was not going to be the case. Contract signed in June and as of October 9 we still have a hot tub sitting empty, not hooked up due to their lack of knowledge about permitting requirements. Sub contractors are great, work is good, folks are nice. However the oversight and knowledge of local requirements leaves much to be desired.

Carolina Family built an in-ground pool for us in Clayton. We had 3 different contractors provide estimates and bid on the work. Carolina Family was the only company in the area that provided an automation system & robot by default. We chose Carolina Family and were more than happy with the quality of work, communication and planning. Melissa was our project manager and she did an outstanding job explaining the process, coordinating the work, setting / meeting deadlines and making sure we were happy with the end result.
