Dakota Applicators was started by DJ Fischer in 2009 as a spray foam insulation service. In 2012, current owner Michael Fischer started working for Dakota Applicators and in 2014 he took over the operations. By 2018, the business expanded to include a second shop in Sioux Falls, SD ran by Trent Deslauris.
Since 2009, Dakota Applicators has been insulating homes, shops and commercial buildings across the midwest. We had Michael with Dakota Applicators, of Gettysburg, SD insulate our new home, along with two outbuildings. He did a great job, which can be attested to with the heat of last summer and the below freezing temps of this winter. The hours that the air handling unit operates per day is limited in number, thus the efficiency of the installation of the insulation is demonstrated daily. Michael, you did a great job and we thank you for all you did to make this a very positive experience.

Michael is a very easy man to work with. He was always willing to answer questions and explain the process. Talk about a guy that comes to get it done. He sprayed our new house and traveled quite a ways but showed up on time and was done when he said he would be! Super nice guy to work with! Would highly recommend him and his crew for any and all spray jobs!

I was very pleased with the entire process of having my new home spray foamed. Michael made him self available by phone and email multiple times to make sure we were on the same page and to answer questions. He and his partner showed up when they said they would, did the quality work as they said they would, and cleaned up as promised. I would hire Dakota Applictors again for any spray foam needs.
