Unless you are paying cash for your custom home project, you will need a construction loan to pay for the materials and labor, and you can use it to buy the land as well. Construction loans for custom homes are a little more complicated than conventional mortgage loans because you are borrowing money on something that doesn't yet exist.

I have lived in this home for almost 3 months and am in love with it! I'm impressed by the level of details, quality of construction, layout, design, etc. The home is very comfortable and energy efficient. Helton Construction is great company to work with. The staff are very professional, they listen to what you want and work to get you what you are looking for. They remodeled a bathroom at my office in a very professional and respect manner. They worked around my office schedule, even on the weekend, to not interfere with my business operations. I would suggest Helton Construction if you want the job completed right.

Although Wendall Helton is conscientious, he is also poor at honoring his “estimates”. Our bathroom “remodel” (removal and installation of toilet, vanity, and removal and of plastic shower surround, and installation of tile to replace the surround) was almost $1500 more than original estimate. A set of my crystal (Nordstrom) wine glasses were… broken during the process. Although I was understanding about the accident, I was promised by Wendall himself that he would replace them. He never did. Also, during the process we had discussed additional work to be done. With

So not sure where to start my review. Ill start at the beginning. in june of 2016 I was in the process of looking for land to build our family home on. I really didn't know what I was getting into so I did what everyone else does and call some contractors to come take a look. Most didn't return calls or just drove by the lot and said yup it's… good.wendall went above and beyond. Wendell met us after work hours and walked the land with my wife and i he also pointed out some things I didn't catch Wendell also told me how to go about getting the information I needed when I wasn't able to gather
