I have had the worst experience with this company. I ordered a large propane tank for my trailer in Kitty Hawk North Carolina. It cost $400 for just the tank and $443 for the gas in the tank. There were three leaks that this company says never existed however, all of the propane leaked out of the tank. I called them and told them that all of the propane had leaked out and it was empty. I then asked them to remove the propane tank, and the company told me that they don't give refunds for the tank or the gas that was lost. Therefore, I am out $843.00 for the tank and gas. Very Sketchy experience with this company. It was very obvious that they smoke cigarettes inside there propane business *does this seem concerning to anyone else*? The guy filling our propane tank charged us for a full tank of propane but only filled it 25%. Somehow we didn't speak to anyone except the receptionist and they didn't have a cash register but pooled change out of their employees wallets to give to us. Another employee honked at us to get out of the way, why?

My experience with this company started off great while they were selling me a product that I had no prior knowledge or experience with and was depending on them to provide me with the right size fireplace for our space. Unfortunately, the service was all downhill from there! The lack of communication and workmanship on the install with no regard to safety left us with no choice other than to have the fireplace returned to them along with the propane tank. They have to date not refunded any of the $2200 we paid them in April or the $200+ we paid for the install in May. I will never use this company

Schedule an appt 3 weeks ago for today. They asked me to call Thursday to verify the appt. They told me they would come between 9-12. 11:30 I called to find out where they are. Told me they would call me back. 11:50 I called them again. They told me they had an emergency this morning, maybe by 2. I reminded them that 1- they should have called me first thing this morning about being late. 2. My time is worth money and I am not going to sit all day and wait for them. I also found out from my neighbor that they did the same thing to her. I will never use or recommend this company

My experience with JT Jones propane is incredibly terrible. I purchased a home in OBX in 2018 and inherited their propane tank for the fireplace. It took forever and 3 missed appointments before they finally showed to service my fireplace and light the pilot.
After several other service issues I just told them to take the tank at the renewal of the lease. Then it took almost 7 weeks to finally pick up the tank. AND they stole my regulator!!!
These folks talk a good game at the beginning. Then their attitude sours as issues come up. Do yourself a favor and find someone else for your propane
