Since 2003, Swiss Valley Furniture has been crafting solid hardwood furniture built to last a lifetime. Our furniture is built on-site using locally sourced lumber. Visit our store, conveniently located one mile east of Walnut Creek, and browse our 24,000 square foot showroom. Accountability - We take ownership of our actions and accept responsibility for their results.
There are many things that will collect on the surface of wood finishes. Such as cooking oils and fumes, fingerprints, and dust. Generally a soft damp cloth followed by a dry cloth will be all you need to clean the finish. If a cleaner is required, we recommend Guardsman products. Every effort should be made to keep your furniture out of direct sunlight and heat sources such as radiators, hot air outlets or wood stoves.
At Swiss Valley Furniture, a prized part of our legacy is our ability to design and build custom handcrafted furniture products. Custom design & building is our specialty! Bring us your pictures, drawings and ideas, and we will work with you to create your own unique piece. Any piece you see at our store can easily be changed to accommodate your needs as well.
We offer complete in home delivery and set-up, based on mileage from our store to your house. The delivery is paid directly to our delivery company, Hershberger Transport (Conrad has worked for us for 12 years and now delivers our furniture!). Payment for the remaining balance due to SVF in the form of a check, cash or credit card can be given to them as well.

We've bought several items from Swiss Valley over the last couple years including complete dining room and bedroom suites, and a couple pieces that were custom built to our specifications. The quality has been outstanding, the prices reasonable, and the service excellent. Yes it may take a while for custom built pieces, but it's worth the wait.

If you are looking for new furniture you need to look at Swiss Family Furniture. The furniture is all hand crafted an beautiful. I am in the market for a dining room table and they had a huge selection. Even if you are not in the market for new furniture it is a great place to stop in and take a look and don't be surprised if you see some furniture you really want to take home. I thought the prices were reasonable.
