I recently had a need of a plumber to repair my one piece American Standard toilet's leaking flapper and replace a leaking watts regulator at my meter. Should have been easy right? Wrong! 3 plumbers and much frustration later we still had no flapper or watts regulator repairs. After asking a friend for a good referral we contacted Becker & Son Plumbing.
Thank you for coming so promptly to repair my mother's leaking faucets and shower. Why is it important to use a licensed contractor? Licensed contractors must abide by state laws with regards to ethics and standards of behavior. They must also be insured. Licensing protects the consumer.

Unethical and unprofessional. Expected to be billed for estimate as he stated they would “take a look” when there was a visible leak, above ground. Instead had “plumber” start digging randomly at $110 an hour instead of texting or calling. When I asked to stop work (after they spent hours digging) they continued, as he could “see the leak”. They suggested a deal for me to pay his employee his wage of $28 per hour to dig but still billed me for this labor in addition to their rate.

We have had two emergency plumbing needs recently and Brad Becker and his team responded the same days. Repairs were completed correctly and quickly and we were back in business. When you need a plumber time and quality are what count the most. Prices were fair.

Ripped off 3 times. First time was a water line that broke, they repaired it for a reasonable fee but a week later had to return to fix their mistake. Yep, they charged me the same price over again. "We don't guarantee our work"... was what the lady on the phone said. Well fast forward a few months and my broker has them replace a faucet. $500 for a $100 POS faucet. They literally got the cheapest thing at the store and billed me 3 times the amount for it then billed me 2 hours for a 20 minute job. I guess since I wasn't there watching them, they figured they might as well rip me off. Con artists
