The lack of communication and professionalism of office staff was unacceptable. After such terrible communication, I decided to get a few estimates from other companies. Thank goodness I did, because Clay Insulation’s estimate was three times more than both of my other estimates.

From the beginning this company has been awful. Took over a month to complete with three different crews to put up soffits. This is a two day job. Less than a year later, I have soffits hanging down with insulation falling out. James, the owner, refused to come fix the issues, and He actually hung up on me twice when I called to have the problem fixed. He stated his work was not warrantied and it wasn’t his problem. I would NOT Clay Insulation to anyone. They are way to busy for their customers and do shotty work.

Very poor customer service. Placed order over the phone with James. Requested the 250 dollar blower addon. Fireplace was installed 2 weeks later and no blower. Also top cap on chase was pieced together not 1 piece of metal and on top of that it wasnt ran to the bottom of the 2x4 top band so the wood was still exposed. On sent invoice it had doors included and I had no doors. They said to replace the fireplace with one with a blower would take 3.5 weeks. Also said top cap was fine as long as it isnt leaking and they do it that way all the time, but they could make a new one piece cap for an extra

Horrible customer service!! I went to their office to pay for gutters that I had installed and mentioned that they missed a section of my home. The owners (husband and wife) started screaming at me. It was the most awful experience I have ever had with a business. Save yourself the headache and use someone else. I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THEM.

I filled out a contact form on their website, to have trim repaired on my vinyl siding home, they called asked some questions and didn’t call back to schedule appointment. I called back and they said it was something they don’t do, I’m sorry don’t you do vinyl siding?
Then I was connected to so guy I’m guessing the owner and he starts yelling at me about I don’t know what I’m talking about and the way it’s done on my house isn’t the right way, how does he know he hasn’t even looked at it. A**hole

Horrible company. We spend over an hour going over all the details, then the owner promptly goes out of town and fails to convey the instructions to his employees. When the employees were confronted with an error, it must have been a sore subject/they were hot/who knows, but they jumped down my throat and stated that they would NOT fix it unless paid more money. Needless to say they were not invited to finish the job. The following week, the owner's wife threatened us when we had not paid our bill only 4 days after receiving the new invoice! Horrible customer service!!

I have had gutters put on two of my rental properties by Clay Vinyl and Gutter and both times was a pleasurable experience. The owner, James, came out and did the estimate personally and when the job required a little more material than anticipated, they didn't charge me anything extra. My gutters were installed in a timely fashion and I received a follow up phone call from the owner's wife making sure I was satisfied with my service. I can't say enough how much I love small businesses and this is a perfect example of why! Thanks guys!
