Scott and his crew are efficient and professional. I have worked with Scott on complicated rigging projects and used Western Edge for multiple tree removals (beetle kill pine overhanging neighbors property, large fire damaged oak and ash near structures, general thinning and clearing for driveway expansion) going back about 10 years. In all cases, he and his employees have planned well, worked safely and completed the jobs exactly as expected. Their, knowledge, experience and equipment allow them to work more efficiently than many other companies and keep the cost as competitive as possible. I

Living on a two acre property surrounded by the forest makes tree maintenance a high priority for us. Scott and his crew have assisted us with several tree removal/trimming jobs over the years, and they have always done an excellent job at a fair price. This level of service is one of the reasons we love to live in this amazing town!

Fact: Scott Paider was weeks overdue for the estimated date for service.
Fact: Scott refused to answer or return phone calls over those weeks when inquiring about his new estimated date. Eventually he replied with a text message, which involved no apology or acknowledgement of his lack of courtesy and respect for someone intending to pay him hundreds of dollars.
Fact: he allowed his crew to agree upon an additional tree removal, and only after the job was completed did he attempt to demand a different price.
Fact: I would absolutely never use Scott's services in the future.
Opinion: His crew

I contracted Western Edge Tree Service to remove a 80 foot long hedge of overgrown cedar trees that were approximately 40 feet tall and 15 feet wide. This was a daunting task.
I had contacted two other Tree contractors prior to calling Scott at Western Edge. The first one said that it was too big of a job for him. The second one never made it out to give me an estimate in over a several month period.
It was a pleasure working with Scott and his crew. They did an amazing job removing these trees in a very timely manner. The amount I was charged seemed very reasonable to me.
