I do not recommend this place.
- I called on Dec 8th requesting a if they could order a part for my fireplace, they inquired about some information about the model and said they would call me back.
- I received a call back about 45 minutes later letting me know that they could order the part and it would be $320.
- I said I would call back when I have a better idea of when I can order it.
I called back 2 weeks later (Dec 21st) to find out the time-frame on the order and place it.
When I called I was firmly and rudely greeted by the receptionist asking what 'How can I direct your call?!'

While Alex, the salesman was okay, the rest of the staff was rude! The two women I talked to were extremely unprofessional. After talking with the delivery driver to set up a time, between 9 and 10, I let him know that I would NOT be there but my husband would be. My husband would take the day off and be there to instruct and pay the remaining of the balance. The driver drove all the way to my house in Newport and called me. When I didn't answer, like I told him I wouldn't, he turned around and went back to Spokane! He didn't even knock on the door! When I called to check

BEST customer service in town. We purchased a fireplace a few years ago from Alex Morris he was very knowledgeable and wanted to help us find the right fire place for are needs. Love the fireplace he help us find. I pulled the remote out to turn the fireplace on after the summer and somehow it got damaged over the summer I went into the FIREPLACE CENTER to see about a replacement Mr. Morris was amazing again and went out of his way to take care of us. Highly recommend going through Alex Morris for all your fireplace needs.

Ron and his crew were awesome to work with and we are impressed with the meticulous attention to details for our fireplace and the beautiful wall they built for us. We bought a house with a gas fireplace and tried to schedule a service. The scheduler was rude and difficult to work with and then they cancelled our appointment. The scheduler said she would call us back, which she never did and when i called her back she barked at me that they would call me when they had time. We went somewhere else and was very satisfied.

We were very happy with the customer service, product quality and installation of our fireplaces. All the staff we worked with were friendly and very helpful from the initial product selection through the final installation and payment process. We would definitely use the Fireplace Center again and highly recommend them.

Do not do business with this company. At first thought they were great. Alex was extremely helpful and friendly in the store. Helped us pick out a fireplace that met our needs, they came and removed our old one. Told us it should be about a week to get the new one in. After two weeks without hearing anything I sent this email to them.
“Just checking to see if there’s an update on our fireplace. The last I heard you were hoping for an arrival last week and an install the beginning of this week. Thanks.”
I never received a response. After a few days I called and talked to Ron. He told me

Technician Michael was here a few days ago for annual fireplace maintenance. Excellent, as usual. Prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, clean - professional in every way. We had what could have been a big, expensive problem with one of the gas fireplaces turn into a very small, inexpensive problem thanks to Salesman Alex working with the manufacturer on our behalf. We've used Fireplace Center's products and service for over 15 years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Called a few days ago to ask some questions and whoever answered the phone was so rude, I couldn't even consider doing business with you. Didn't catch a name, but seriously lady there is this word it's called PROFESSIONAL. I am stunned by the way she treated me and hope her manager reads this. She shouldn't be answering phones if she has absolutely no idea what customer service is. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone and furthermore will find another place to do business that doesn't treat people like trash!

We walked into the Fireplace Center with no real knowledge about what we wanted in a wood stove. We were in the process of adding wood heat to our home which had none. Alex spent over an hour discussing all the options and we left with booklets on the 3 wood stoves we wanted to think about. Alex took my multiple calls to answer questions about our options. We finally decided on a wood stove and the owner himself came to do our site survey. He also spent a good amount of time with us to discuss the process of adding a wood stove.

We purchased a new house that was in the process of being built. Although we were able to make some upgrades, it didn't come with a fireplace. We asked the builder to install a gas connection so we can have a fireplace installed when the house was completed. We visited several fireplace stores and Katie at The Fireplace Center was the most helpful. Not knowing what we were doing, we ordered a fireplace but did not know it did not include the encasing. I had called hoping to schedule a service for two of my pellet stoves with the potential of replacing one of them. The lady who took my phone call gave absolutely horrible customer service and talked to me in a very demeaning manner and tone. She acted like she knew all and no one else could know anything. I won't be doing service that has such poor customer service right out of the gate.

I went to the Fireplace center on two different occasions, I worked with Alex and explained what I was doing, and what I had to work with. I showed him several pictures for reference. Alex told me he had just what I needed and sold me a very nice unit that he said would work great for my situation.
