Whether you are looking to store something small for one month or something large for several years, our three locations in Petoskey/Bay Harbor locations, and Harbor Springs location can provide you the best possible storage solution. When clients vacate their rental unit within the first two (2) weeks of any month rent will be prorated, and the refund will reflect the proration.

Leave a walkway to the rear of the unit - this provides better accessibility to all of your items. Label each box on several sides and indicate if it is fragile and what room it should go in. Use wardrobe boxes to hang clothing; remember to fill the bottom of the wardrobe box with shoes, pillows, or other light items.

My wife and I sold our home in Clarkston in July and then moved to our (much) smaller condo unit in Petoskey. We had to locate a storage unit facility in the area and the best we could do is be placed on a wait list. Peter and Frank not only found us a unit at their Northland Storage but bundled together four. I cannot express enough my gratitude to Peter and Frank for not only their professionalism but also for how much they truly cared about our tight deadlines and uncertain situation. They made our move so much easier at a time of significant stress.

I recently needed to put a large quantity of my belongings in storage and feel extremely luck to have found space at Northland's newest location on Howard Road. The facility just opened at the end of May, and is absolutely pristine! All units are climate controlled and Peter Bowers and Frank Thompson took personal care to ensure that the space was exactly what I needed. I feel very luck to have found this location!

Big shout out to Peter Bowers and everyone at Northland Self Storage! We moved 500 miles and was in a pinch to store a 2000 square foot home due to some scheduling issues with our new house. They didn't hesitate to help us out and was accommodating with all that we needed. They went above and beyond our expectations and was understanding and caring with the situation that we were in. I cannot say enough great things about them and I would highly recommend them for any storage needs.

Customer service is at the core of every successful business and Peter and Frank and Northland Storage excel at this. We had a client coming in from out of town and we had a tight schedule to move all of her belongings to prepare for her renovation. Peter and Frank were kind enough to meet us at their new beautiful temperature controlled facility the day before her move to make sure she felt completely comfortable with the process and gave her assurance that her family treasurers would be in good hands. They followed up after to make sure she was happy with the experience. I cannot recommend them

I cannot overstate how lucky I feel that my builder's assistant located Northland and helped me reserve space in their newest facility on Howard Rd, just south of Petoskey. The facility, which opened the day I moved the contents into storage, was immaculate, and Peter and Frank were exceedingly accommodating and helpful. I think my belongings are going to enjoy their time in this climate controlled facility -- I only hope they'll agree to allow me to remove them from storage when construction is completed!

My experience as a customer at northland storage has been one like no other. Both Frank and Peter have been extremely accommodating and supportive with any needs I have encountered whether its removing snow and ice so I'm able to access my unit during the winter months, or even assistance when I lose my key. The units themselves are clean and easy to access and very affordable. Being a female sometimes entering unit after dark, it is comforting to know they have such great security measures in place so I always feel safe. Would reccomend these guys and their facilities to anyone seeking storage
