LK Design specializes in window treatments, design and service. Sometimes it's difficult to figure out what product matches your needs. Drapery panels? Roman shades? Or a combination product? Roller shades or honeycombs? Wooden shutters or fabric window treatments? Do you have challenging architecture and need help with visualizing all the possible solutions?
If you are not sure where to start, or which direction to go, or if you would like to do all the shopping yourself, then this hourly consulting service is a great option for your project. We'll start our appointment with a walk-through of your home to get a feel of who you are, your likes, personal preferences, and your style.
Laura did an extraordinary job, window treatments and bedding. All the work was tailored to my windows and bed. From the beginning and throughout the project she was very open to my style (it is traditional) and extremely professional. I found her to be personable and extremely efficient. She completed the work within the requested time frame.
Unfortunately, due to the increase in our project load LK Design is not able to start on new projects until beginning of JANUARY, so we can better serve our current customers. Having moved here from out of state, one of the things we first discovered about our new condo was that street noise would not be our friend. Laura helped us as we renovated the kitchen, mud and laundry rooms and added a master bedroom and bathroom to our 1942 Carrboro mill house. She respected the original esthetic of the house, while bringing in modern elements that really made the space. She was responsive, provided great ideas, and was flexible when we wanted to go in a different direction. She met me all over the triangle to choose granite, cabinets, fixtures and tile. I contacted Laura after my company used her for paint colors and flooring. I called her to help with interior home colors. She has an amazing eye and listened to my particular style/tastes. We decided to remove a wall between the kitchen and the living room and by the way to remodel our kitchen. Duh. That was more that our brains could handle. We wanted something that would look really nice, stylish and not too much, but we had no clue how to proceed. Someone recommended Laura and from the very first minutes we knew it was the right decision. She just knows how to do it. We were struggling around the island, since we have a small kitchen and we wanted to optimize the space, but no one could understand and propose us a non-standard shape island. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Laura. First and foremost, she's an absolute delight to be around. She is incredibly perceptive and was able to bring our vision to life.
