My daughter (Ashlee B. - Beloit) gave Al at this company $2500 in February. He has yet to finish her driveway, leaving it worse than it was before. He will not return calls or texts. He has even contacted the police saying that she is harassing him. The police officer knew he was blowing hot air and she went ahead and filed a police report against him.
WHY can't you either return the money, or do the work she paid to have done? SHAME on you are taking advantage of a single mother who just bought her first house.

I paid Bill $2500.00 to re do my driveway he was so nice and thoughtful. Here it is coming up on 2 years and he or his brother Al have never done the work. They don't answer the phone because they know it will be someone wanting their job done. They have been sued before and I know why. Dishonest unreliable, and very unprofessional. I am filing papers to sue them myself, save yourself some time and sanity. Don't ever even call this company!!

McCauley Asphalt Contracting has NOT done work in a timely manner. We hired them in June 2019 to blacktop our driveway, extend a parking pad, add a new parking pad, and lower the slope at the end of our driveway. Despite repeated calls from us and broken promises from them, they finally arrived in Oct 2019. BUT, they left the final coating of blacktop until "next spring," of 2020. We accepted their delay because of COVID, and were told they'd be here mid-July. Now, late July 2019, they've said it'll be mid-August. We have already paid over $4800 for an a job that should
