The automatic reverse-sensor safety feature causes the gate to open when it hits an obstacle, such a child, pet or toy. A deep-cycle battery and charger are included so the gate works even during power-outages.

Mario and his crew were reliable and very professional. They cleaned up EVERYDAY before they left each day of the project. It was comforting and put me at ease every time Mario and I worked on adjustments to the project. Mario came up with great ideas and spent a great deal of time working with me to make sure I was a 100% satisfied customer on the project! He did everything he said he would and was a delight to have at my home. Mario (Affordable Automatic Gate Co.) has been servicing my automatic gate for over 12 years. He returns phone calls promptly and normally is there the next day to diagnose the problem. In most cases, Mario will have the necessary equipment on his truck to make the repairs immediately. If not, he will provide a time frame to find the parts and when he will return to finish the work.
Several times my gate has only needed a minor adjustment. On those occasions, Mario has not charged for the service call.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this business. Simply put, you get what you pay for. They put a gate up for me, at a great price, and it was fine for a few months until it started squeaking. The owner said he would come by and take a look. We set an appointment time and he never showed up. He didn't call or anything...just didn't...show...up. Now, he won't even answer the phone! It's like he is scared of his clients.
I found these people using BBB, thinking they would be reputable. So, the lesson to learn here is that the BBB is a joke and never trust a so-called "BBB Accredited" business. And especially
