Vincent McCabe has been my mason for eight years and most recently his expertise in a large family antique barn restoration project. Vincent constructed the new foundation for the barn's new location as designing and constructing the massive chimney, with fireplace. Somehow he incorporated several of the original foundation brownstone blocks in the chimney for all to see.
What a great tribute to my great, great, great grandfather who built the original barn in 1810. I am beginning my fortieth year as an antiquarian horologist, clockmaker, and can well appreciate his skill and craftsmanship. Vincent McCabe did a beautiful job on our patio! Everyone who has seen it compliments on how nice it is and wants McCabe's company name when they're ready to build a patio.
They did ours with such precision and perfection. McCabe and his crew came everyday until the job was done. We couldn't believe a patio as big and beautiful as ours only took less than 2 weeks to do. The work that McCabe Masonry does is fabulous and we couldn't recommend them more highly. When we renovated our home, they did both block and poured foundations with real stone veneer above grade and then rebuilt/repaired our 250 year old chimney with multiple flues. Whatever the job, they are among the hardest working and most talented masons out there and the prices are more than fair.
Thank you Vince! You and your crew are artists and "backyard crashers" extraordinaire! You not only did what you said you were going to do, for the price that you quoted, within the timeframe that you guaranteed us, but the job site was left looking like the backyard and patio ALWAYS looked like that.
