I went through Costco to replace my garage door and opener, and Costco contracts via Action. I can't say whether their prices are high or low as I did not comparison shop, which might be stupid but I felt like going through Costco would be a safe bet. The customer service gal who responded to my inquiry was very helpful and answered question upon question. They sent an estimator to measure and give the exact quote. He was also very helpful and friendly. He came on a bad day and I was kind of freaking out about the expense but he was really kind about that. He recommended a more expensive door

I was really impressed at first. I was happy to give my business to a small business owner. The problems started when I didn't receive the quote after the inspection. I later learned that the quote had been emailed to the wrong email address. After I accepted the quote they informed me that the manufacturer had raised their prices a day before so they were adjusting their prices. And they informed me the Costco shop card promotion had expired. I was disappointed because this was a Costco dealer and I thought I would be dealing with a company that valued customer service. Great company to work with. I had some insulation put onto my garage doors, and they did an outstanding job. They showed up on time and worked quickly and answered any questions I had. They left cleaned up better then I could do before they left and made sure I was happy as a customer. I will recommend to anyone who need any garage door work done.

This company is amazing! We called in the morning and they were here the same day to replace the sensors on our garage door! Technician arrived timely, was very professional, and practiced COVID-19 guidelines. Once the sensors were installed, the technician showed me the replaced sensors, provided me tips on what to look for and how to resolve the sensors possibly becoming out of alignment. Cost was definitely reasonable compared to other companies we had contacted!

I called Action Door Service to replace my existing garage door. From the time I called and spoke with the front desk people to the time of arrival to my house this company was amazing. Benjamin was nothing but professional with my service. I did my research and checked other companies around the sacramento surrounding area who sold LiftMaster and they buy far beat everybody's price and there customer service was outstanding. Benjamin came to my house and was on time, courteous, friendly and went out of his way to make sure that I was a happy customer.

I hired Action Door Service through Costco's Amarr garage door service. They were very prompt in establishing contact and scheduling the site inspection and installation. The pricing was also very transparent, but that was determined by Costco.
The man who conducted the site inspection was plenty knowledgeable and helped me decide exactly which features of the door and motor were best for the garage, which still had its original 1980s door.
The guy who performed the installation was a one-man army. All on his own, he removed an old, heavy, solid-wood

First off, I'm a female and my husband wanted a crazy expensive garage door for our new build that I did not approve of so he sent me out to choose. From the initial phone call, I was invited in to view their products. The female in the office showed me around after I told/showed her what I was looking for, zero pressure at any time from anyone. Called in today as my Lift Master garage door wouldn't open anymore. I was calling to schedule a tech but Carol suggested I call Lift Master first as they may be able to troubleshoot it over the phone. I called the MFG and they ended up shipping me a replacement free of charge. This ended up saving me over $100. I wish more businesses had the integrity that Carol displayed on our call. My husband and I purchased our garage door through Lowe's earlier this month. We initially thought it was going to take about a month to complete the entire process but it ended up only taking a few weeks start to finish.
Action Door Service was SO amazing and actually a delight to deal with; they kept us updated along the way, VERY friendly over the phone and in person and easy/flexible scheduling.
I received a courtesy call yesterday (day of installation) about half an hour prior to the mechanic coming out; the woman (I'm sorry I forgot her name

Had a my garage door spring break due to a worn out carriage on the track over the 4th of July weekend. If you've ever tried to lift a garage door without the counter-balance spring you know it's darn near impossible.
I called Action Door Service Monday morning and they called me back with a 2-4pm window. Todd showed up early, no problem with that! He came in, diagnosed the problem, swapped out the spring while his helper Fritz ran the cables up one of the sides. Todd then replaced the carriage, and readjusted the speed at which the door closed. He said that it was bottoming out
