Crew 9 with Andre and Jose did a fantastic job installing the insulation under the MassSave program. They arrived when the scheduler said they would, and after informing me of what they would be doing, they went to work. It was great Andre brought to my attention of what they found that wasn't spotted during the initial energy audit, and informed of how much extra it will cost and what they did to fix it. We were eligible for some insulation upgrades to our old home that required them to crawl into the tight spaces of our attic and climb our (very) slanted roof to install a vent. We were quite pleased with the quality of service! As others have said they were professional, competent and tidy. They communicated with us throughout the process and their scheduler accommodated our needs. Javier, Rael and Launa functioned smoothly as a team... very impressed! We would highly recommend them.

Very pleased with the whole team. The office staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful when I contacted them to schedule insulation work via the Mass Save program. Luana scheduled the work to add insulation to our attic pretty promptly and were specific about when they'd arrive. The crew members were friendly and courteous when working in our home. They left no debris or trace of their work in our house. They worked quickly and efficiently. I checked their work afterward and it looked good. I was very pleased.

We had a MA Save energy audit that determined we could use air sealing in the attic and weatherizing work. I contracted with Neeeco to do the work and Crew 8 with Nathan performed the work. Nathan was professional, explained the process, and completed the work as agreed. In addition we have a room above the garage and it's usually 6-8 degrees cooler on a cold winter day. Nathan said there is a program to blow insulation in through the garage and asked, was I interested. I told him I was interested and he made a note to have someone contact me. I'd highly recommend Neeeco and crew 8

I have an old Victorian house, vinyl siding, with only a couple of spots insulated. These are balloon framed walls, along with some building changes like doors turned into walls. This was an insulate through the outside walls project. The crew doing the work did an excellent job! First, they arrived on time. They were able to do both stories of the house in one day. They clearly have a system for doing the insulation. They took care of the interior plaster walls ensuring their integrity. They also used plastic on the ground to protect surrounding plants. Most of my experience with NEEECO was positive. It took awhile to get scheduled for the work. I placed several phone calls and emails to the Scheduling Department before I received a call.
The woman who scheduled the work, Luana, was very nice and informative about what to expect. She first scheduled a manager, Jason?, to make an assessment of the specific work that would be done. He was very thorough and explained the extent of the job based on what he learned about my house.

Avoid at all costs! Three years later and I am still cleaning up this company's mess --- literally, cleaning up their mess; look at the pictures! From initial assessment to installation, this company was a complete disaster. Their assessor gave us incorrect information about rebates. We hired a heating contractor, then learned that the rebate NEECO said we qualified for was not in fact for our heating setup. This would be enough to complain about, but their insulation install was far worse. The lead contractor from NEECO was going through our personal tools, paint and brushes in our basement

Covid-19 delayed everything and I understood; however, things went good to terrible.
Finally got a date for install. 3 days blocked out 7am-4pm. They tell you this. They call a week out to confirm. I planned on being here the entire time, put my dog in daycare, and explained to my tenant what was going to happen. She moved everything out of the way and left for 3 days.
They came and went in less than 8 hrs!!

I feel compelled to write a review because my experience with NEEECO was so bad. I scheduled a virtual MassSave audit with NEEECO. It was a 20min phone call that basically gave me some light bulbs, power strips, and bath fans (well, the bath fans never arrived and I don't expect them at this point). I also qualify for 100% coverage of cellulose insulation in our attic, which is the exact wrong way to insulate an attic with an air handler, so I'm passing on that.

Absolute scam. Mass saves sent Neeco out to our house in May 2019. 14 painful visits later (14 from Neeco and several other separately by the Mass Saves inspector), and over a year has gone by, they finally "finished" July 2020. Finished is a strong compliment; by finished I mean they finally connected all 3 bathroom fans in the attic that THEY disconnected and left unattached in our attic in prior visits. Also by finish, I mean they left the house unscathed. Several visits ago they smashed a perfectly functioning closet shelving system because they didn't want me to move it out

After finding multiple nails in my driveway, a nail in my tire, and some insulation debris left behind, I was upset. Of course, I left a negative review about the situation. Michele Buchanan, the General Manager, immediately responded to my review. I called the cell number Michele provided on a Sunday (she actually picked up!) and I immediately knew she wanted to help in any way she could. She offered to pay for any repairs done to my vehicle. Turns out the nail didn't penetrate all the way through my tire and my tire Fitting kit needed to be replaced. So this loss of tire pressure

I highly recommend NEEECO. Richard did our Home Energy Audit (if you have not done one of these, do it ASAP. Massachusetts subsidizes lots of upgrades). He was professional, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions.
Dan and Jose then did air-sealing and insulation work. They were meticulous and professional. They explained what they were doing and did great work.

Neeeco came onsite to perform attic insulation, venting and other winterization work. They were able to schedule us within two weeks of the initial call, were on time and professional. We had a bout $4,500 worth of work performed. Following the work that was performed Mass Save audited the work and found zero issues.
