We were recommended to this business by friends. Initial install went fine, but service has been uncomfortable. I’ve been told time and time again that their equipment never fails and it is the homeowner unable to properly hit an up/down button on the remote. I read similar comments in these post. Repair staff is short of rude, but clearly bothered that my family can’t properly run their perfect product that never fails. Repair directions for the perfect product should you need such.

They do not show up or return calls. Aaron claims he does not get messages. Diana claimed that I did not pay them on time for the last project when Aaron had not completed the project! They lie and always make excuses for poor service and lack of professionalism.
Aaron is the owner son and has done a poor job of representing a company that his father worked hard to build. It’s a shame.
Avoid at all cost.

We purchased one large retractable awning and four fixed awnings, and their prices at the time of purchase seemed both reasonable and competitive. We had conducted a thorough search through other awning companies locally and through central Florida and none seemed to satisfy our needs like Sunshade
The workmanship both in the quality of the product and installation was and is awesome. My family lives on the patio and the screened in lanai each and every day, and the remote large lanai awning and separate fixed window awnings have cut the heat and sunlight, cooling the inside of the house dramatically

I used them recently and have nothing but wonderful things to say. Quality work and great service. I am not a friend or family but I am a very satisfied customer. Blocks not only the sun but as an added feature it also blocks the rain. I am west facing and the sun and rain can ruin an outside patio dinner until I got them to install this shade. Very happy.

I will always do business with Sun Shades. They are complete in providing information about their insurance, respond promptly to calls for information or service and are willing to help solve issues that I have created myself where I have accidentally bumped into the products they have installed for me. What an organization! Do not hesitate to do business with these folks. They are top notch!!!!

Price for the retractable screens seemed high but we really needed them so we decided to proceed. We had issues with the screens many times as they cannot be rolled down when its windy. They would stop going down and roll start rolling back up inside the unit. This causes them to either not come down all the way anymore or come down crooked. SunShades serviced us initially but after the 2nd time, they have stopped being responsive and left us with the issue for now over 6 weeks. We still like the screens but service is not good and the way they respond to us on the phone is extremely unprofessional

I would have to say that these guys are one of the best options if you are looking for retractable awnings for your home. They are very nice and fairly priced. Your project will come out looking great! I definitely recommend them. They also do motorized screens too if you are looking for those. Thanks Sunshades!
