Energy Savers SI offers Attic, Wall, and Crawl Space Insulation to make your home more comfortable and energy efficient. In most applications, our preferred choice is Blown-in Cellulose. Cellulose reduces air infiltration and energy loss better than fiberglass due to its density. Cellulose is also the best environmental option because it's made mostly of recycled materials including newspaper.
It consists of nearly 85% recycled paper fiber and the other 15% is a fire retardant. Before insulating, our local professionals Air Seal all wire and plumbing penetrations, top plates, and any breach in the building envelope. This lowers your homes air leakage rate and allows the new insulation to perform at peak R-value.
Although some of these penetrations and air leaks are not very large, adding up the total linear footage can easily be the equivalent of having a window open year round. Remember: Insulation slows down heating and cooling loss while Air Sealing stops it. You will benefit when we properly seal your crawlspace and install a new sump pump system.

Ryan,
You texted me twice to tell me that you would be here by Friday to check the sump pump and crawl space to be sure that the encapsulation is keeping it dry. You didn’t arrive either time.
The landlord is having to wait on the follow-up inspection before having other work scheduled. We are running out of summer weather. He is wanting a French drain system installed in the front, and he also needs to know the water content of the center support.
You assured us that the follow-up inspection would be done this summer. We need to know if the encapsulation is working. Especially the sump pump

We had Energy Savers SI install a sump pump and seal our crawlspace last summer. The sump pump discharge pipe came apart two weeks ago. I called them and they came by and repaired it. They even stopped by a second time to check and seal up the access door. I appreciate them taking care of me so quickly!

My electric bill (Egyptian Co-op) has been high for many many years. Energy audit by the Co-op didn't offer any ways to get my bill under control. Energy Savers performed a thorough inspection, identified multiple sources of energy leakage in my attic and came to me with a plan to repair obvious cracks/leakage, re-insulate to bring up to today's standards, and found a creative solution to deal with 12.5 ft underhang on my wraparound porch that was probably causing a continous battle of hot/cold air that was wasting electricity. Ryan and his team were professional, stuck to their schedule, did a

Critical: Punctuality, Responsiveness
Ryan did not show for the first 2 appointments. After emails over 2 months, a deal was set. Within his last email dated December 30, he promised to mail a contract and proof of insurance ASAP. That did not happen, and I don't have the new gutters that the deal would have accomplished.
