We had been looking for a pre-built cabin for a while, and had settled on a specific brand. Even went to one business where the sales person was unable to complete our purchase (could not locate the right paperwork and could also not load the store's website on the computer). So we stopped at Great American Fireplace to take a look, even though they did not sell the brand of building we had decided to purchase.

Loved the fireplace install but, when we had an issue with a dry stack piece coming loose and falling off after only 2 years, the customer service was awful! After 4 weeks of no replies, my husband finally stopped in and was told: "the adhesive to fix was not in stock but, you can buy it at menards".😖

Great American Fireplace exceeded my expectations! Janet and Danielle we're extremely patient and knowledgeable as they worked with me over several weeks to select the right wood stove for our family. Their installation team was prompt, skilled and professional. I encourage anyone looking to install a fireplace to give them call. Their customer service was second to none.

They do amazing work, and the staff is always friendly!
The only negative experience I've had is their scheduling! It's happened to me a couple of different times so far that I was told they were going to be there to either do the stone work, hook up the fireplace, etc. and no one showed up! The last time it happened, I was told they would be there in the afternoon. I ended up calling the store to see where they were. When I talked to the lady, she said they were only going to come if they had time. (They told me they were coming in the afternoon and would give me call if it happened to be earlier

Seem to be disorganized. Sent emails that went on answered. I would then call and leave a message and they would tell me they would get back to me the next day but never did. It seems like after I paid for the order the customer service went down. And the follow-up is not any better. The work that the workers did in installing the fireplace was wonderful but like I said the customer service not so great right now
