My family and friends have used Mike and his team on at least 6 projects and there’s no other fireplace company we would use than Ember West. They are sensitive to budgets, deadlines, and do whatever they can to make your fireplace perfect. So happy with the work done on my fireplace. I needed trim pieces repainted as the old paint was chipping off and Jamie did incredible work making these pieces look like new. Lots of time was spent to sand things down and to rebuild the paint layers slowly...Jamie also helped me figure out how to "modernize" my fireplace and remove the "fake logs" - a look I did not like and he came up with a way to change it up on the fly and it looks great AND he was able to install a remote control...They checked all the boxes and did amazing work, were diligent and really easy to work with

We had our wood burning fireplace replaced with gas logs, and everything about the experience was great. Aaron gave us a free home consultation, and gave two good pricing options with clear pros and cons. We visited the store to see the logs in person, and everyone was helpful and kind. We made a decision, and had Aaron come do the installation with zero issues. He was quick, had a good eye for design details, and answered all of our questions - most before I could even ask them. Jimmy was extremely helpful and patient. We thought the blower was down and they sent Jimmy. He opened up the fireplace and spent a ton of time checking the whole thing and reassured us everything is going fine. He even cleaned up the fireplace while doing the checking. He was also the guy who installed the fireplace for us. It is always a pleasure working with them.

I really enjoyed working with Cameron Bragg from Emberwest. He was knowledgeable, helpful and spend the time to do the right thing. He came to the job site multiple times to make sure my contractor did the right framing, built and made sure the installation was completed in time with no trouble. We had a very good experience with EmberWest and have used our fireplace every day since we got it. We had wanted a gas insert for a long time and had shopped around at several Bay Area fireplace stores and the choices and options were overwhelming and confusing so the project stalled. I saw EmberWest on YELP so we decided to give them a try. Aaron was super helpful and came out to our house and quickly zeroed in on what we wanted and made some recommendations. We went to the showroom that weekend and quickly found the style we wanted. The guys who installed it were very polite and helpful

We went to three different fireplace stores in the Bay Area and this was by far the best from a customer service and price perspective. Scott was really easy to work with, spent a lot of time showing us different options and made the buying process quick and easy.
On the day of delivery and installation, the guys showed up on time, did a great job with the installation and spent time going over the features and how to work our new gas fireplace.
Best of all - they were about 15% cheaper than the other two places we went to.

I purchased two new gas fireplaces from Ember West for a remodel, and had all very positive interactions with the whole team. I served as owner-builder (boy, what an adventure!) and was probably on the high end of the "needs hand holding" spectrum. The EW team could not have been more forthcoming with insights and pros and cons. From selecting models, finishes, and inserts (both logs and glass) to framing and gas line/shutoff tips, to installation and start up assistance, they were with me the whole way. I have had an insert that hasn't worked at all for over a year and only kinda worked for the two years before that. The LP valve that mine came with had been discontinued and there was no suitable replacement. I live in a pretty remote area so no technician would come look at it. I found Mike at Ember West through a friend and figured I'd give him a call. Mike wasn't afraid of the distance I was from him and talked me through the issues I'd been having. The people are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain all the options but the process are through the roof. They did help is by showing us how expensive every thing is and steering us away from the insert option. Don't know what makes an isert cost 4000$ or more this is nothing but a gas burner decorated with some fake wood. If it was 1500$ we might have gotten one but at these crazy prices no thank you.

Emberwest has a great selection of fireplaces. I went there to find a modern electric fireplace insert and Mike was able to help me find the perfect one for my budget. They had quite a bit of selection in store and available on order. The best part was that they had they all hooked up so we could see exactly what the insert would look like. It's much harder to guess if the insert would look "fake" via an online site.
