From traditional to contemporary, we offer full service architecture and design for new custom homes of all sizes and styles. We design both small and large projects. Our designers and architects enjoy working with diverse property types and locations, as well as new design challenges. With the ease of the latest technologies, we can assist you on your project in greater Seattle area and beyond.
When approaching a remodel or addition project, our design process focuses on the understanding the existing structure and the development of the rehabilitation to the existing space or addition onto the structure. Our designs strive to reimagine the spaces to tie seamlessly into the existing structure.
Our design approach is that the interior design and architecture go hand in hand. Our interior design services include helping our clients select the materials for their project. We are skilled with color coordination, tile layouts, cabinet design, and styling for our various projects. Our design services do not include furniture or artwork sourcing.
Embarking on a remodel or building a new home can be overwhelming; our clear-cut process will help guide you through each phase. We discuss the scope of your project, and then provide you with a proposal based on our hourly rates and the services you request. The H2D team comes out to measure the as-builts of the existing house.

We wish we had chosen a different architect. Initially, H2D seemed competent and pleasant during the first part of our home remodel. However, our overall experience with them was unsatisfactory. Admittedly, our remodel was problematic and revealed challenges we hadn't anticipated. However, common oversights and miscalculations by H2D resulted in generated revenue for H2D and added expense and time to our remodel.

I have had the interesting experience of working with H2D Architecture as a professional on shared projects and as a client of theirs for my own home. They do a nice job of communicating, are thorough in their plan preparation and understanding of the permit process, and are very responsive. I also find their fee schedule reasonable and manageable, making professional services accessible for other than the "rich and famous." They will help navigate the system for you so you can enjoy the process of dreaming, creating, and building.

Heidi and her team are excellent to work with. We are a General Contractor and we have built many of Heidi's projects. The best compliment I can pay to any architect is that they have effective systems, drawings and are good communicators. It is one thing to be creative and artistic and have great design sense (which they definitely have:)... but it is imperative to communicate that vision well to clients and builders. We loved working with Heidi and her associates! They were incredibly responsive to our expressed needs, very flexible in their thinking and design work, and we have a lovely new dining room as a result. Everything was clearly explained to us as we went along, so that we could make the choices that suited us best.
