Recent refinishing job done by the L&L Floor Company crew. This white oak hardwood flooring was stained natural and finished with Loba Hybrid Satin Finish. Polymerized Tung Oil, a Waterlox Floor Finish This is a floor refinishing project we tackled in Staunton, VA using Waterlox floor finish. This client was looking for something a little different in a floor finish.
Refinished the floors in a home I bought in Staunton. He used two part commercial floor finish at my request, which is very difficult to work with. The job turned out perfectly. Very good work in a timely manor. The company that installed carpet in my mother's home recommended Mark to refinish the hardwood floors in the other parts of the house.

Had difficulties setting up a appointment for quote on new flooring. Once we finally got the appointment set (on our move in date). When the day of our appointment, we ended up behind schedule on returning the UHAUL (because of weather) to meet the quoting person. The person whom we were to meet did not call us to find out our status, and we had no number to call him to let him know we where running late. So he left before we returned about 15-30 minutes after the appointment. We thought he never even showed until I called this morning. The person on the end of the phone stated he was there. So

Too Long; Didn't Read: An amazing local flooring company. They fixed and refinished 2 stories of floors within 2 weeks. Wonderful work and wonderful people. Their storefront is also great for all flooring needs including great rugs!
Long Version: My fiancé and I recently purchased our first home in June 2020. Once we ripped the carpets, we found out why they covered the hardwood with carpet: holes in the floor (from wall removal during earlier renovations). We called L&L and Mark (the owner) came out quickly to let us know what we were dealing with and provided us with our estimate within 24

Boy, did we get lucky!! Built a beautiful home in Afton three years ago, and paid dearly for cherished reclaimed pine flooring throughout. Architect and builder made horrible decisions on finish for the flooring, resulting in dull, dark, unattractive and easily scratched floors.
Couldn't live with the result any longer, so gave the whole project for a redo to Mark Simmons at L&L Floor Company. Major inconvenience for us, but SO worth it!!!! Mark worked with us to produce a custom color for the finish, spot tested it first, involving several home visits until we were happy, and ultimately delivered

Mark Simmons and his crew of Jeff Laporte and KC Laporte transformed our daughter’s 1931 home into a place of which she can be proud. They had to do extensive preparations, which took considerable time and effort on their part. The finished product was no less than miraculous. We thought that the job couldn’t be accomplished and were given little encouragement from the local big box stores. Mark’s prices were excellent, his attention to details and timeliness has assured him our deepest appreciation. We will be using L & L Flooring again for our next flooring projects and will refer our friends

The company that installed carpet in my mother's home recommended Mark to refinish the hardwood floors in the other parts of the house. She had birch floors from the 50s that had seen some heavy abuse. Mark did an excellent job bringing them back to like new condition. Highly recommended for any hardwood floors you need refinished. He also has his own store with a great selection of rugs and wood flooring now.

Great experience with L&L Floor company! They have a Great selection of Flooring! They were very helpful in picking out a floor that would work for me. Answered all my questions. Not only do they have every type of flooring, they have an amazing selection of rugs! Which is very hard to find in this area! Mark did an outstanding job refinishing my 28 years old hardwood cherry floors. I thought they were beyond refinishing but Mark assured me they could be beautiful and they are! I am still in awe as to how great they look and the cost was extremely reasonable. Thanks once again Mark and Lucien for a job well done!
