The owner, Nelly Schulte is originally from Lima Peru, where she was an industrial engineer. She came to the USA and graduated as a Fashion and Interior Designer. She worked as a fashion designer in New York City for 4 years and moved to Sarasota to raise her family. She started her drapery workroom here and the rest is history.

Nelly did an amazing job with helping me get everything set in my new home. I just moved to the area and needed blinds in my home and couldn’t find anyone to do it right away then I called her and she sent someone that day to give me an estimate. I got the blinds right away and couldn’t be more happy.

Srq blinds and drapes did a very good job a my house in North Port.
The owner came with beautifull samples that matched my decoration. she has very good taste and is very experienced with matching colors and fabrics . We did all our windows with roller shades and stationary side panels. Thanks Nelly
