Our toilet was giving us the problems the last couple of months...if you know what I mean :) It was struggling and had no power to our flush and you know how frustrating that can be. One can only do so much 'plungering'...felt like I was doing that pretty much everyday, until I finally had to hang a sign that people in the house could not use this for number 2. Dave the owner of One Up Plumbing was reccommended to me by another contractor. I needed a plumber to replace my existing gas water heater with a new hybrid electric water heater. The plumbing connections to the new water heater are very different from the old one. I also wanted to add an expansion tank, pressure regulator and recirculating pump to the hot water system. One Up Plumbing managed to fit all of the new components into the existing space in a clean and tidy manner. Dave at one-up plumbing lived up to every review I had read about his company. I had Home Depot come out to deliver our new Dishwasher Friday. they said they could not do the installation due to a corroded shut off valve and I would have to reschedule an install. Called Dave right after the HD guys left. He said I can be there first thing in the morning mind you this was Memorial day weekend . As promised Dave was here first thing in the morning to fix the problem.

Best plumber and very professional!!! My dad's asian so he called some guy on the newspaper ad that came over and charged him 300 to fix a flooding toilet. The next day the water was coming back up. We called the asian guy back and he said he will charge 100 to come back. His name is quoc 7144748494. My dad was mad, but whatever lesson learned. I called my friend Larry (the plumber that used to do work for my house before he moved) he told me to call one up and gave me their number. Told me they're like his family so I can trust them. I called them late at night around 10:30 pm they answered

This review is long overdue. Dave has come out twice and each time he's come when promised, is always professional and has fixed the problem without issue. The first time Dave came out was for our Halo system. He reset the system and found there was no real issue and didn't charge us even for the call-out. Crazy, right ? The second time he was out was an emergency call as a contractor that had just demolished our backyard had accidentally hit a pipe and we had a good amount of water spewing out. Dave came out did his thing and was done within 30 minutes or so. We keep his card

When the OneUp team came over, they said that the reason my toilets were not flushing was because I needed new toilets.
Humph, I said, that makes no sense.
They said yeah, the water holes on the sides of the bowl clog up over time and you can either clean them out with a wire hanger, which will reduce the problem somewhat, or you can just replace them with new toilets.
Humph. Had to be the pipes, I said. Slow flush means slow pipes, right?
Anyway, I trusted their expertise over my own and followed their advice.
I went over to BJ's Discount Plumbing in Garden Grove, and picked out Toto

Called Dave on the weekend when my backyard sink got clogged. Hey gave me a quote over the phone and scheduled an appointment for Monday morning. He came in just as he promised and even though it took him longer then he originally thought he honored his price and took care of the problem.
