Nestled along the Stillwater community's nature trail, this home combines characteristics from old and new together in a peaceful setting. Time-tested materials such as stone, copper and mahogany provide a rich and durable exterior. The interior has modern appliances, Silestone countertops, and energy efficient windows that are low maintenance solutions for everyday living.
We started working with Lynn and Kim from a concept they had that would allow them to care for Lynn's mother while enabling them to remain in their home in their later years as well. The idea was to build an updated master suite and sitting room off the back of the house that would be an area dedicated to Lynn's mother and later used by Lynn and Kim.

Quality. If you are looking for a builder who emphasizes quality over anything else, look no further. Matt went above and beyond to ensure our home was completed to his standard which honestly was much higher than my own.
Matt built our house cutting no corners and that was important to us at the time and after being in the house for several months, reminds us why we chose Wheelhouse over others. We bought an old home in an established neighborhood that needed expanding and updating. Wheelhouse literally took the roof off our house to add a second story and fully renovated our existing kitchen

I would highly recommend Wheelhouse Construction. Matt and his crew did an excellent job with several different projects in our home. He is super knowledgeable and his work is high quality. I especially appreciate the time he took to discuss and plan out different ideas we had. We love the cozy loft area he designed and created in our log cabin. It really added character and charm to our home!

Matt built a house for me 5 years ago. The quality and workmanship Matt and his crew exhibited far exceed what is typically found in the industry. Matt met the timeline he originally laid out for the project while giving great attention to the small details along the way. Matt made the financial part of the process very easy as well. He possesses a high degree of honesty and integrity, and he was very well organized and transparent in the billing and changes. You will not find a higher quality builder. Matt makes sure the job is done at a very high quality, communicates well, and is fair in his pricing and dealings. He built our deck, patio, loft, and new metal roof, installed new doors and skylights. All are bulletproof and look phenomenal!

We hired Wheelhouse Construction a few months ago to reconstruct a building on our property that had been smashed by a huge tree; something I didn't even think was possible, due to the extensive damage. Matt got the job done right, quicker than we expected, and he even stayed within our budget. I highly recommend Wheelhouse Construction and would definitely use them again!

Matt and Wheelhouse did a beautiful job of painting our house and updating it to a more custom craftsman look. His crew are polite, punctual, and professional. I was extremely pleased with the work as it was done. Matt was quickly responsive to my inquiries and the work was finished in the promised time frame. Charge was as per estimate. They returned promptly to address punch list. I recommend Wheelhouse without reservations.
