Chicago is a wonderful and historical city, but it can be one of the worst places to live if you hate violent weather conditions. This is why if you own a pool, or are thinking of owning a pool, you need to go with a gunite pool. Unlike other types of pools, gunite pools are the most durable, long lasting pools on the market.
Before we can start with the swimming pool construction, we have to design your pool. Once your pool is designed, we must get a village permit to build it. There are many reasons why you need a building permit to begin work, such as gas and water lines under the ground. Getting a permit is Danna Pool's number one objective for a reason.
Custom Gunite spas and hot tubs are a great addition to gunite swimming pools of any shape or size! There are a few different styles such as gunite, acrylic, fiberglass, and even stainless steel, but gunite spas are by far your best bet if you are interested in purchasing one because they will last the longest, and you can match the look of the gunite spa with the exact look of the pool.
There are a few different types of swimming pools that you can choose from when looking to purchase a pool, gunite pools and fiberglass pools are two of those options. Each of these pools have pros and cons, and ultimately the consumer will have to make the most educated decision they can. Here at Danna Pools we want to inform the customers about their different options before they make a decision.
Old pools can be an eye soar. Whether you just moved into a new house with an old pool, or you have had a broken down pool in your backyard for years; rehabilitating or getting rid of an old pool is a necessity. If you no longer want the old pool and all of its baggage, Danna Pools Inc. will come in and completely get rid of it.

Stay far away! They will leave your pool unfinished and in complete disrepair. I contracted Daniel Kamide from Dana pools on June 11th, 2020, to build a pool in Lake Forest. The pool was supposed to be finished by years end 2020 and it's still unfinished in November 2021. I have continued to make payments during 2021 in hopes the pool will be finished. I paid an additional 40k due to price increases and he once again promised it would be completed before winter 2021.
Now material costs have risen once again. Daniel Kamide from Dana Pools is asking for even more money to finish the project

After meeting with several in-ground pool builders our final decision to build our pool in 2012 was Danna Pools. Dan listens to you and works with your ideas and provides suggestions improving on the original design. The outcome is worth waiting for, the quality of the construction was beyond expectations. We receive raving comments from friends and relatives who join us those hot summer days.

My husband and I are so happy we chose Danna Pools to build our pool. They had a very detailed pre-construction process that allowed us to see exactly what our pool would look like even before it was built. During construction, we had to make some changes to the original plan because of money issues, and Dan was very professional and understanding! We were so pleased with the pool and spa that we even had Danna Pools build our outdoor kitchen. Our backyard is truly a paradise now!

After waiting 5 weeks for Danna to return our complex pool keys in which took several phone calls to finally get to talk to Dan, still have not been returned but what I did get was a earful of his foul mouth and him asking me to come to his shop for face to face. This is a guy that was receiving thousands of dollars from our complex, buyer beware not a trustworthy guy and a very shady company.

We contracted with Danna to replace an older auto cover and for pool maintenance. The older cover was worn with some holes and rails were starting to pull from the walls but it worked well.
In addition to the cover Danna was contracted to replace the tile at the waterline. We were told the project we start in 3-4 weeks of receiving the deposit in early April.
Danna started the tile project two weeks late but it was still spring so we didn't mind. About over 4 weeks later they called to ask us what color we wanted for the cover. Alarm bells started to go off. The custom cover was to

Danna Pools replaced our 50 year old cracked up concrete pool deck. Have an in ground pool concrete pool with fiberglass walls. Old pool deck needed to be broken up/removed by hand and wheel barrowed away - and new concrete needed to be wheeled in by hand as well. Professional, hard working crew. New deck with McGregor flagstone coping looks great! Looking forward to enjoying our pool for many years to come!

We were new to owning a pool so we decided to get a pool company to help with weekly cleanings. We called around to a few companies and most didn't respond. One company said they would not come to my address (May be related to previous home owner).
Casey at Danna was very helpful, responsive, and professional. I had a number of questions and she found answers to everything and we were happy to use them for the weekly cleanings. We also had them add a vinyl and mesh cover to the pool and they did great work.
One thing to improve is that I would have liked to see good levels on Ph, Alkaline

I hired this company to open a pool that was closed for 3 years due to my house being bank owned. They drained and power washed the pool to clean, then I subsequently learn that this should never be attempted with a pool with a liner. My mistake for putting my faith in these so called pool experts. As predicted the pool did not hold water after filling, and I had to replace the liner since they destroyed it. (thankfully with another pool company) While they had no problem cashing the $1500 check I wrote to them, apparently returning phone calls is not included with that price. Complete crooks,

We scheduled an appointment for service in Sept and week after week were given excuses for the delay. 8 weeks later we contacted another company who did the repair within a few days. Very unreliable.
We were loyal customers for years who always paid our bills in a timely manner even at times when we were quoted one amount and charged another, much higher. There is no excuse that sits well with us. My advise, if you use them, get everything in writing!

Dan really did a nice job helping clear out the hurdles for us. Our pool is great. We love it. Its been very easy to run and maintain. The auto cover has been a little problematic, but I'm glad we have it. My gas bills are surprising low for keeping a pool at 89F. The concrete is great. No worries about a liner with the dogs, kids, adults etc. I liked the auto-vac, but I've been without it for a season. The auto-cover is easily the best feature. It's been a bit of work keeping it clean, but it retains heat very well and keeps the pool clean. The slide is very popular with the kids and adults. Its
