Alrighty, I have now had MOAT service my home for a year now so this is a long term review. My home has had a huge ant problem since decades before I owned it. The ants would literally be crawling trails from out of the air ducts, windows, and electrical sockets every summer. I've tried several cocktails of spray from the hardware store or DIYs from online, each one would only solve the issue for about a week. Now that I've had the service for a year now and the ants have finally lost the battle. I'm so happy with their customer service and tech services. Definitely recommend you

I was in need of fumigation for termites. In doing some searching for someone local I found Moat termite & pest control. Jason was able to come out the same day I called for an inspection and to discuss fumigation. Once we had a date set he made sure we had everything we needed to prepare for the tenting process, and even called a few days prior to make sure we didn't have any questions before the tenting day. Highly recommend Moat.

Jeff was the technician who came to do the pest service. Even though it was a terribly hot day, Jeff had a smile, was polite, and listened attentively to what I asked him to do, and not to do.
When Jeff told me he was finished with the service, I remembered that the tree in the backyard was usually a haven for ants. I was just going to let it go till next time, but Jeff said he would go back and check it out. Not only did he affirm that the tree had ants, he went back and treated the tree.
I was very happy with Jeff's work and would gladly have him complete my pest service next time!

I dealt with two other pest control services in Hemet before I called Moat. The contrast was remarkable. I will call them Company X and Company XX.
Company X charged me $50 to spray around my mobile home. They set no bait stations or rat traps. When I repeatedly phoned them to come back to set bait stations, they repeatedly told me that my account wasn't in their "system." (Whatever that means!) Eventually, they simply stopped returning my call.
Company XX, answered my one and only call to them. Their phone person affected a little-girl voice. She could answer none of my questions

Jasons team is a very respectful and professional team. They are always on time. They don’t do a half fast spray like other company’s do and take your money. They come and inspect first to see where the problem is coming from.

So I called Moat Pest control to help us out with a VA Termite inspection. Jason was responsive and got us on his calendar within days, which was awesome. Even though in the end he did find some areas that needed repairs, he provided a quote for the repairs that was reasonable and a timeline that was great.
The repair team showed up, and performed the repairs and we can't even tell where affected areas were.
Our experience overall was awesome and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a good honest termite inspection.

We had evidence of termites in two locations upstairs. Jason and Jeff came out and did the evaluation for free and confirmed our fears. Jeff came back 3 days later and did the treatment, which is warrantied for a year, as well as pest service. They were great! We were happy to support Jason's small business. My experience with this company was great. Jason answered his phone on my initial call, no need to leave a msg, I texted him the picture of the bug as we were talking, he explained everything and the type of bug in detail, he gave an appointment when it was convenient for me, he is very professional and very knowledgeable, I'm not one to write reviews unless you're exceptional. Really great termite service. Took the time to talk things over with us, created a recommendation plan but we're not overly pushy to get the work done which is very appreciated. After completing local treatment, they had really good documentation created for us and were very friendly to work with. I would definitely recommend them for any termite inspection, wood repair, and local treatment services.

As a real estate agent, I'm always on the lookout for the best companies serving the housing industry. I've worked with numerous termite companies, from the big corporate one's like Terminix, all the way down to local companies who use supposedly "organic" products.
