I was extremely impressed and happy with Doug this past Sunday afternoon. We had painted our front door and the locks no longer worked. I accidentally locked myself and my family from our home this evening. It was one of the most embarrassing and frustrating things imaginable. I decided to call this company since it was 24 hours and it served my area. I called and spoke to a gentleman over the phone who gave me reasonable pricing and estimate time of arrival. Wow Doug is seriously amazing! My friends and I got locked out of their house when we went out. We called Doug to come out and help as we had him help in the past. He came within 30-40 mins and unlocked the door for us no sweat. Seriously 100% recommend him and it's a plus that he's super nice/friendly.

I accidentally locked myself out of my bedroom... yes, I'm just talented like that. I spent some time trying every lock-picking trick I could find on YouTube, with no luck. At my wit's end, I called Universal Locksmith. The gentleman on the phone was polite and professional. We got a knock on the door not ten minutes later. Points for speed!

Wow! Where to start is the hardest part in wanting to leave an excellent review for Universal Locksmith. At a home i just sold, Doug came over and took an old sliding glass door of mine (that was made in New Zealand, this is "key" because it was unique and no parts were available here in the US) which was not working, and managed to find parts in which he altered specifically and used to fix my door. I could not believe it. The guy is skillful and he arrived 5 minutes earlier then he had estimated.

I’m a hair stylist and l got locked out of my rolling station and needed a locksmith fast before l had to go to work and the person l spoke with was very polite and arrived at my place very quickly and unlocked my rolling station within a minute. This was, far and away, the best experience I've had with a locksmith. Doug was able to fit me in the same day I called. His prices are very fair, his service is exceptional, and he's also just a really nice guy. When he got to my house, he told me that the lock I needed installed was simpler than he'd anticipated, and that he would be charging me a lower price. I didn't ask, and would have had no way of knowing if he hadn't said something. That kind of honesty is a rare thing to find.

I am so pleased that I chose this company to get my locks changed! It can be intimidating as a woman to have a stranger in your home changing locks, but Douglas really knows his locks! He was informative, honest, and gave me a first time discount. I really feel like this company is quick and efficient and really a great gem find for anyone who needs a reliable locksmith. I looked for reviews on Yelp for a local locksmith and Universal Locksmith was highly rated. Doug arrived fairly quickly after my call and provided great service. He was very friendly and professional and did not charge an outrageous price to fix my door issue. He was very patient as we tried working different scenarios to try to use as much of the old hardware as we could.

Doug was on time and very detailed and educated my family and friends visiting at the time about the proper locks to use and the in and outs of security for your home. What I mean by that it was a positive experience he was not "selling me" by any means.
