Never chance buying tile, or any product for that matter, from them. My husband and I own a tile installation business and our tile was sent over 1,000 miles away to a coastal city in the United States when we live in Kansas. It took over a week to even get rustico tile to even acknowledge us and our pleas for help locating the tile. We had to locate the tile ourselves and track it down. Rustico tile is everything a person undergoing a kitchen remodel could ask for. They are professional, responsive and very knowledgeable about their product. I received my manganese tile and it is a beautiful product. Overall, an extremely well run company with an excellent staff. I highly recommend doing business with them.

The floor is spectacular. I have used Spanish machine made terracotta tiles before in my house in England. I like them and they are easy to maintain. But the Mexican handmade tiles are so beautiful. They have such a variety of rich colors and they catch the light and fill the room with warmth. I am a happy customer.

The tile I wanted was out of stock, so due to lead time vs the amount of time I had to finish my project, I unfortunately was unable to make a purchase through Rustico Tile. However, the customer service I received when reaching out for information and quotes is very deserving of a 5 star review.
Haley was very helpful when I initially called to discuss availability and she followed up with a very quick quote as well as prompt, cheerful replies to all of my questions. I am sad that I was unable to fully become a customer because I can only imagine I would have been in good hands.

This was a wonderful company to work with and choosing them to source the tile for our renovation was the best decision we made throughout the course of the entire project. Phenomenal customer service, excellent product, no issues with shipping over 600+ miles to our home. They were fast, diligent and courteous, and even followed up long after the tile had been installed to make sure I was still enjoying my purchase. 10/10 stars!!!

A real person always answers the phone, and promptly got me to the correct expert. My numerous questions went from Tile colors, floor prep, mortar, trowels, grout and topcoat.
We had no experience, nor did our installer, and I had personal help every step of the way, leading to an amazing outcome.

Stay away! I ordered and paid for a sample of red saltillo tiles and then ordered 1100 tiles based on the sample from them for delivery in California. The tiles I received were completely different than the sample. The sample's color was baked in while the actual delivered tiles were clearly painted red. The tiles have a manufacturing defect with blisters and are peeling. Customer support gave me the run around telling me it is natural for the tiles to have one or two small holes. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. I purchased a pallet of Saltillo tiles and at least half of them were white. The colors did not match at all. I am very familiar with Saltillo tiles and use them often in my design work . I understand that there is some color variation. That's part of what makes them interesting and beautiful. This was not a color variation. They were a completely different color, an entire pile of them were broken, many of the ones that weren't broken were chipped and lumpy. Our vision for our new house construction was a Mexican/Spanish inspired home and Saltillo tiles were a key component to the build. Great prices and beautiful, quality product. However, I was surprised on how little/no care was take when packaging and shipping the 12x12 Saltillo tiles from TX to CA. 350 sq feet of tiles approx 2500 lbs. arrived in a flimsy wooden crate with no padding between tiles or bumpers. I had over 15% breakage of tiles and per the agreement, the company will only be responsible for breakage of over 15% so I submitted my claim and provided pictures of all the broken tiles that mostly were towards the bottom of the crate, but my claim was denied with no explanation. I asked for an explanation for the denial

I recently ordered 16" Saltilo tile from Rustica for my living room floor. It was the first time I have tiled a floor like this and I did a lot of research to know who to buy my tile from. Even though they were in Texas (I am in California) they were the clear cut best at what they do and got my business. The whole process, the company has been amazing. Rustico Tile and Stone has been wonderful to work with! I am so happy I went with them for my Saltillo tile purchase! I am a do it yourself-er and Melanie walked me through the measuring and ordering process to ensure I had enough tile and all the installation materials I needed. The tile arrived very promptly and only a couple of tiles were broken, which is to be expected with any tile order. I started with my kids bathroom. Any question I had, Melanie and her team promptly answered. And I had a lot! Any other company would disappear after the sale but they do not. I 100% recommend Rustico

I ordered 3 weeks ago and paid in full up front explaining it would a few weeks before I would be ready for it as my house was not quite under roof yet and dried in and not secure. I was told 3 weeks and then storage fees would apply. They emailed just before 3 weeks was up telling me they had to ship it or charge storage. I asked nicely to delay just 2 more weeks. Melanie stated that the order is only nine small boxes why cant I take it. I explained again my situation. She wouldnt budge. Since I dont live near my project i asked to cancel the order to which she responded sure but 35% restocking

My experience with this company was WAY less than fabulous. I'm glad to see more current reviews that are positive, and I hope they have straightened out their customer service issues. I live in Austin, so this shop is 'local' to me. I called them wanting to order super saltillo. They said "lovely, let us know how much you need" sooooo after talking with my contractor, he estimated what he needed. I called them & told them. They said "order now, so we will have it in stock when it's time for it to be installed" ~ so that's what I did. I ordered early

Working with Rustico is an absolute pleasure! I was working on a tight deadline and contacted Rustico on a Thursday afternoon, right before Easter weekend (Rustico was going to be closed on Good Friday). Kathy jumped into action to make sure our order was placed in time for FedEx - otherwise we would have had to wait until Tuesday of the next week for our samples to be shipped out. Reading another review written by a customer initially afraid to order tiles online but then happy with her choice to do so helped elevate my own comfort level with placing my order for expensive tiles sight unseen. Price was also a big factor and I saved over $2 per tile with this order. I ordered 12" Mexican terra cotta tiles in two main colors, combining red and manganese tiles. The delivery came in a timely manner, the driver helped us unload (an extra benefit we were not expecting) and there was very little breakage. I would recommend this company and I would order from Rustico again

I felt that this company was very patient with me. I am sure they mostly deal with building contractor types, but as a homeowner, they were very, very patient and explained the process. I saved a TON of money going directly with these guys as the price was much less than boutique tile shops in the Bay Area. The shipment was a few days late, but honestly I think that was on the trucking company, not them, as the trucking company admitted as much on the phone. Overall, I have a stunning floor now and I got the material at a very reasonable cost. The quality of the tiles was A++++

I was nervous ordering Encaustic cement tile online without ever seeing the product but am over-the-moon with the tile! It's absolutely beautiful. It arrived today in perfect order. Dee at Rustico spend so much time with quote after quote for me. Even though it was a small project, I never felt like she was annoyed with all my emails. I can't wait to have a finished bathroom with the tile!

We live in Chicago and were looking for cement tile that was in stock...we found Rustico on the internet. We talked with Dee at Rustico who knows everything there is to know about cement tile...She guided us through the process in a pleasant and professional manner. Not quite sure what is with the other reviews on here, but Yelper's with no picture and two or three reviews are typically suspect, of course these could be legit but they always make me a little weary. As you can see I've been on Yelp for a while and really utilize this site to learn more about businesses and make choices for who I use, where I eat etc. For some reason I didn't check out Yelp when I first started working with Rustico but for once I'm glad I'm didn't. It might have scared me off a little, and my experience with them with far from scary.

First of all, their customer service seems superb. Very friendly and helpful. I sent them photos of our project and they gave great advice about what tiles to order. It was tricky because we were adding onto a room and wanted the same tikes.
My first clue that something wasn't perfect was when the samples, promised to arrive in two days, took two weeks to arrive. Well, okay, we had time to waste.
Their quote was reasonable, but the final order was much higher than the quote. When we placed the order we were promised the tiles would be received in a week to ten days. After waiting for 3 weeks
