Country Willow

My husband and I went here after trying to buy furniture online and in "bargain" furniture stores. We were looking for a set of high-quality dressers and were amazed by the selection and price points at Country Willow. No Ikea or particle board garbage here!
What we loved most was that the salespeople were kind and gave us space while we looked around. Once we had an idea of what we liked, a salesperson was standing by, and she showed us options and customizations within our price range. Even shortly after purchasing and leaving the store, we received prompt follow-up emails confirming style availability

Be very careful. Will do anything to make a sale. Purchased a stress less chair. Was told 18 to 20 week wait as chair was being custom made in Norway. Next I get a call that it doesn’t come in color leather I’ve chosen, will I be willing to get in darker shade. Within 2 days I’m informed the chair is miraculously ready. When I question I was told salesgirl told me color leather wasn’t part of promotion which was not what she told me. Entire transaction was shady and what I believe happened was they had a chair in a warehouse that was almost what I had specified but only in a darker color

I love this store! Great furniture, great quality. Eileen has been helping us and she has great taste and suggestions! It’s hard to find the right thing when you are browsing online (or even in the store), but we would tell her what we want and she would find the perfect piece.
I know supply chain issues have backed everything up these days, but I believe that Country Willow is honest and upfront about their lead times. It sounds long, but at least the delivery date won’t get pushed back several times.

This store is amazing!! What a huge selection of quality furniture! I was in the market for a new sectional and went to a few local places near me without much luck in finding what I needed. ( Our current couches have lasted 16 years until our kids got to them!) Jamie greeted me with a smile, listened to what I was looking for, and showed me all the possible sectionals that fit my needs and budget. It took me a bit of time to finalize my selection, but Jamie was super patient and so helpful. She found a gorgeous sectional that will hold up to my three boys and our pets in a durable, beautiful fabric

This is a phenomenal furniture store for many reasons. First, they have excellent furniture - solid, well made and very tasteful. Second, they are incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. We furnished our Adirondacks condo exclusively with furniture from Country Willow and from planning to delivery every single step was thoughtful, professional, helpful and friendly. In around 9 months, with normal use, not in any way excessive or inappropriate, the end of the arm rests on my arm chairs wore out. The chairs looked like I had them fir many years. The reps at consumer service at Country Willow claimed that they were not responsible since the chairs were fine when they were delivered. I purchased the chairs at Country Willow, even though they were priced higher than elsewhere, since the store is known for its customer service & selling a quality product. This was clearly not the case. Their furniture should not have aged that quickly with normal use.

Unfortunately, Country Willow sold me an absolute garbage quality coffee table for $1400. The coffee table was designed to "look" like it had a 1/2" thick plate glass top. However, this was only a guise and the thin glass was less than 1/16" thick and poorly bonded to a pressboard substrate.

When asked to warranty the lousy product within 18 months of delivery date, neither Country Willow or the manufacturer stood by their product.

It is now cracked in 4 places and is a total safety hazard. The cracks are from every day light use.... doing puzzles, placing drinks on it

Had a great experience working with Country Willow! I had originally visited the store with my husband and my mom to pick out a nursery set. The staff was not pushy, gave us plenty of space, and after showing us a few options, told us to check in if we needed anything else. We found something that we loved and ordered it that day. Update - and it gets worse. Made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and Country Willow's response was pretty shocking. It was full of outright lies. They proclaimed a technician came to my house and determined there was nothing wrong with my wine rack and they further stated I "demanded" a refund. That was an outrageous lie, Mike at Country Willow. A tech never, ever came to inspect this piece. One month later after being told by country willow that the manufacturer would repair our sofa, nothing. The manufacturer's rep called 10 days ago and promised to fix the sofa this weekend. Guess what? no call, no follow up whatsoever. Speaks volumes about both Country Willow and the suppliers they use. Country Willow does not stand behind their products and don't care about unhappy customers. Lots of run around & promises but no resolution. Don't shop here.

Horrible. Was told about this place by a friend and was looking forward to a nice day of shopping. From the minute i walked in i felt "attacked". If I say " im just looking" to one young lady why would I need help 5 minutes later????? Clearly the staff is on commission so i get it. And many places these days are. 4 years ago I purchased a leather sofa made by Bradington Young and a leather recliner made by Michael Phillip. The sofa is a very well made item but the recliner is garbage. 4 years old and barely used the footrest started to show signs of wear in areas where the feet never touch but rather where the mechanisms are. This store has great stuff and great pricing. The employees are like vultures. I rarely go because you are not allowed to shop alone. You MUST be "helped". We had two different sales associates try to attach themselves to us at least 4 times in the half an hour we were there. It's like going into a room full of telemarketers trying to make sure you don't hang up on them.

Three years ago when I moved I purchased a sectional, area rug and coffee table for my new living room from Country Willow. What a store! Sales persons were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Anyone who sits on my sofa doesn't want to get up.. it's *that* comfy. I've never owned such beautiful, quality furniture. That's not all! I contacted Country Willow recently with my concern that the sofa cushions were pilling and corners sagging a bit. As part of a decorating committee for a new clubhouse in Cortlandt Manor, I went to Country Willow in Bedford. The decorator JaneLee
helped our group with so much furniture, with so many options, from kitchen stools and tables to couches, chairs, carpets and drapes. They were just delivered and are stunning...creative colors, muted, classy, well built, and we were all delighted. I heartily recommend visiting their huge showroom. You won't be disappointed.

This place is as good as it gets I dont know what all this hee haw is all about and the negativity this place has everything and a bag of chips. The Country Willow is wonderful and their employees are top notch. I will refer anyone to this place for all their furniture needs and accessories. Keep on doing what your doing Country Willow!

OK. I am substantially amending my review because the owner read my original post and responded to it. In my opinion, if the owner is going to take the time to read his Yelp reviews and respond in a thoughtful way, I can meet him halfway.

In short, I felt the two salespeople I dealt with weren't especially engaging or really interested in working hard to make the sale. It was somewhat surprising because she had to realize it was going to be a decent size sale (and it was). It's a big place, so who knows, maybe I just drew the short straw.

On the plus side, the furniture is high

So I am updating this review due to positive changes that have occured over the last week.

The CEO contacted my husband as well as Heather and her staff. They will be replacing the table even though the new sample was the same color as the table that was delivered. There was a misunderstanding with the naming of the colors (in 2009 the name / color changed) so I think they just need to update their color samples in-store.

In any case, problem was solved. Thank you Country Willow for working with us to find a solution, we appreciate it.

When my wife went shopping for furniture for our new townhouse I happened along one day. After seeing the prices for some of the stuff, and especially for an entertainment center we liked , I went directly to my computer once home to see if I could get a better price. Somehow I found the exact match from a store called "country willow". The piece was sold in only 3 stores nationwide. Country Willow was one of them. I saved 40%!! Some of the worst service I have ever dealt with. The saleswoman seemed annoyed to have to talk with me, my wife and kids (one of which was asleep and the other wasn't saying a word. Her definition of helping was "go look around". Then she claimed she asked us twice if we needed help

Even our four year old asked "why doesn't she like us...".
