I removed the toilet during a bathroom remodel, and noticed that it had been leaking and the subfloor was all wet around the flange. I didn't know how serious the damage would be, so I looked around for restoration companies and decided to ask San Diego Water Damage for help.
I talked to Rafael, who asked me to take a picture and send over. He called back later in the day and said that it doesn't look like serious damage. He asked me to do some tests to confirm, then concluded that it would be enough to just let the wood dry out.

Writing a 5-star review for this company especially w Eric who was our main point of contact person throughout the whole thing. He was so accommodating with everything. He answered our questions (and we do ask a lot of questions!!) with patience. He was super communicative via text which made things much easier. I own a unit in San Diego and received that dreaded phone call from my tenant on a Sunday night. While out to dinner, I find out that my whole entire loft was flooded. I was completely shocked and it is such a stressful situation to be in when this hasn't happened to you before. I was at a complete loss at what to do. I had a pipe leak in my master shower which flooded my living room. This has never happened and I didn't know what to do. So I went to yelp and just knew I wanted someone reputable to come out ASAP and get this water cleaned up.
They were responsive and helpful.
My insurance ended up being sticklers and Rafael fought for our case the whole way.
I highly recommend them!

You should definitely use San Diego Water Damage! Rafael and Oliver were very communicative, available, and quick in their assessment and clean up of the water damage in my home. Then once the source of the damage was determined, the contractor, Edward, and his team, did such an amazing job replacing the siding on the outside of my house and the drywall inside. They were always on time, very respectful of my home and the people (and animals) living in it, and cleaned up thoroughly every single day. Edward updated me regularly on the progress of the job and was always available if I had questions

Fantastic job on our repair! Larry M worked so hard to get our job done on time and within our budget. They work was completed very well, the finished product looks great and he was very easy to deal with.
Larry was honest, direct, and worked hard to get the job done! The finished product looks great and, unlike some companies, the job site was left clean. Still needed some polish, they're not a "cleaning" company per se, but it was left clean enough to just touch up and be finished.

Rafeal and his team were great to work with. After all the rain we had in early 2019, we found water and mold in the corner of our office. In addition to fixing the mold issue (and damaged drywall), Rafeal gave us great ideas to avoid issues in the future. Rafeal and team were busy and still managed to see us right away, diagnose the issue, and get to work immediately. I highly recommend them in the unfortunate event you find water damage and mold!

Ok let me 1st say that these guy BEYOND ROCK!!! I called them the day my house flooded and they sent Larry over. I also called the insurance company and they sent some one right over. Larry talked to the insurance rep while both of them walked around my house to access the damage. THANK GOD Larry was there!!!! He pointed out a bunch of stuff to the insurance rep that I would have never know should have been covered! Great start!!! From there Larry took over! He got his guys to pack me up (I had to move EVERYTHING out of my 1st floor) they packed up the WHOLE kitchen and all my art and photos!!

I searched around and came across these guys who promptly came working late into the evening and worked with the insurance company directly.
The team helped with every aspect of handling the damage, moving furniture, and alleviating concerns that come with the nature of having your home flooded.

I hardly ever give 5 stars but SD Water Damage earned it! I've never had a flood in my condo so I had lots or questions. SD Water Damage walked me though the entire process from start to finish and they took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. When they came out, they were on time, very professional and took care of my belongings. Larry followed up with me everyday to give me an update and to let me know what the next steps were going to be. I had a humid oder in my bedroom, and with a baby in the room I was concerned. I ordered a home mold test kit and the results showed spores, they recommended San Diego Water Damage. Larry Montalbano came by and spend good time checking all around the bedroom and around the house, he advised me and found the culprit all for free, I was afraid that some company was going to try to sell me up. Such an honest guy/company. I would recommend them to anyone that is nervous they might have water damage in their property.

We had water leaking from upstairs into the walls between our bathroom and the exterior. The initial restoration company assumed it was a shower leak and wanted to take apart walls upstairs and re-build the shower (thinking they could get insurance money for it). Something with them did not sound right, so I called San Diego Water Damage Services and Larry was over first thing in the morning. He took us through a full review of where he could detect water and, without making assumptions, gave us a recommendation on what to do to figure out if/where the damage was. This was significantly less expensive
