Amy is a perceptive, collaborative and innovative interior and kitchen + bath designer who helps great residential clients achieve a unique and inspiring vision for their spaces. She is a graduate of University of California, San Diego where she studied psychology and visual arts. In addition, she earned degrees in interior design and kitchen + bath, graduating with honors.
We offer full-service interior, kitchen and bath design services tailored to create environments based on our clients' individual needs. We focus on how our clients want to feel and experience their space. We consistently deliver a fresh, clean, curated aesthetic that reflects our clients' personalities and tells their unique story.
We are so lucky to have found Amy! She did an amazing job with both our basement and converting a bedroom into a chic office space for me. I didn't know Amy before working with her to update our master bathroom and to add lighting to our kitchen island, and I'm sure thankful for her help! She did a great job helping us to identify what we liked and didn't like, and to envision the completed space. She introduced colors and finishes that we would have not have otherwise used. As well, she has relationships with contractors and suppliers and helped to make sure quality and craftsmanship we were looking for. We're really enjoying our updated space and would recommend working with Amy Krause Design!

Wow! We are so lucky to have found Amy!! She did an amazing job with both our basement and converting a bedroom into a chic office space for me. Everything from listening to what we wanted, what inspired us, how we would use the space to the conceptual design enabled us to envision what everything would be like. Amy did a fantastic job for us in our kitchen and family room remodel. She is so creative and was at our side every step of the way. She goes the extra mile to be sure that her customers are satisfied and her ideas are innovative and inspirational. She is very service oriented. Her ability to put together the accessories in our shelves and other areas was incredible. Her personality is winning and she was very easy to work with as she is service oriented. I would recommend her to anyone considering a project from small to large.

It was a wonderful experience working with Amy on the interior design of our main living spaces (the living room, kitchen and family room). The project turned out beautifully.
My husband and I have different styles and initially found it difficult to come to terms with which direction to go. Amy is very attentive and easy to work with. She assisted with all the major decisions, seamlessly blending our two style preferences. Even when we could not agree on the plans, she was very patient, and provided suggestions that we both were agreeable with.

I hired Amy to help me decorate my new home. I basically started from the beginning, as the style of my new home is quite different than my previous home. Amy listened to what I envisioned and helped me pull together the look I wanted. She has come in at or under budget throughout the project (and I even added a room not on the original budget). Working with Amy was an absolute joy! She made redecorating fun and I love waking up every morning to spend another day in my beautiful space!
Life brought me to Kansas City even though "home" is Pacific Northwest. Our townhouse in the suburbs is a great location for my family. However our middle unit lacks natural light, and the dated Tuscan colors and decor were dark. As well, the space was open but small, lacking kitchen cabinets, counter top and sufficient space for every day living and entertaining guests which was something I loved to do.
