We were supposed to have the free estimate today. Someone was supposed to be here today between 4 and 6. I understand we live out in the middle of nowhere. I understand that people get busy and things need to change. I got no call, no voicemail, or no email after the appointment was set and nothing letting me know the guy wasn't coming. I wasted time, I came home from work to meet the person. Complete no show.

I contacted Mr. Hopkins to ask about encapsulating my crawlspace. I had been working on it for quite some time and had grown tired of working on it. With the heavy rain l was still getting a lot of water seeping in below the foundation blocks of my house. Mr. Hopkins offered a tailored solution that would add to the work I had done so far instead of refusing to work on it unless they took out so of the existing plastic and insulation. I ended up with a sump pump that drained out about 10 ft from the foundation, a dehumidifier and a humidistat that could be set to reflect the humidity inside the

Update#2 (12/14/19):
Scott, who came to my house for quoting out, is a very honest and good guy and I really appreciate his work! It ended up that they provided us very good service in a timely manner since I was rushing the installation. Again I noticed that he is very punctual and works hard, so I will definitely revisit his business as needed.
Update:
I got the phone call from the lady, because she read my web form. Though apparently she may not recognize me, hopefully their service would be good for us. I will keep updated and let's see how it goes.

Hopkins Home Improvement installed a porch swing for me in May. I had gotten another quote and the other handyman wanted to remove my porch ceiling to access the rafters to install the swing. Scott went into the attic and found he could access the porch that way. He installed a 4x4 for reinforcement across the rafters and installed the swing to the 4x4, all without having to remove my porch ceiling. Installation took him about half a day. The swing looks and works great! I highly recommend Hopkins Home Improvement.
