Services
We are a family owned company and have been in business since 1989. With almost 30 years of experience, our know-how and commitment to quality puts us ahead of our competition. We pride ourselves on our professionalism, cleanliness and overall customer satisfaction. We specialize in Chimney Cleaning and Repairs along with Woodstove, Gas and Pellet Stove Sales and Installations.
We are Master Certified in Air Duct Cleaning and Sanitizing. We use a Rotovac with a brush that rotates to loosen and remove the debris from the ducts. We also have a High Definition Video Camera to allow you to see what your ducting looks like, before and after. According to the National Fire Prevention Agency, and the Federal Emergency Management Association, the leading cause of clothes dryer fires is failing to have them cleaned properly.
Chimney caps also help prevent sparks from flying out the top of the flue and landing on your roof causing destructive fires. We use stainless steel chimney caps. Caps attach to the crown of the chimney and help keep out water, debris, and animals. A damper is a "door" that opens to allow smoke to escape the chimney and closes prevents air/debris from coming down the chimney into the fireplace.
Creosote is a mix of soot and tar which can build up during use of your fireplace. There are 3 stages of creosote buildup and all of them are combustible and should be removed. Decreases the smell of smoke in the house. Removes highly flammable material. Proper cleaning also allows the chimney professional to get a better view of the walls of your firebox and flue so that they can inspect it to be sure it is safe to use.
We can fix many types of damage such as: water damage, masonry damage, damage to cap, damage to chase cover, etc. Also chimney fire and seismic damage. Chimney smoke backing up into house. Foul smell, visual masonry deterioration, visual water entry, visual animal entry, visual cracks/deterioration of crown.

At the end of last year I bought a wood-burning stove insert from Rick McDonald, who owns this business. I paid in full for the stove ($3660.91), leaving a balance of $1029.31 for labor and parts, which was to be paid after the installation was complete.
Problems arose during the installation: 1) Rick didn't tell me the stove needed an electrical outlet to work. 2) Rick's workers broke my fireplace hearth by dropping the stove on it. These things made it necessary for Rick's workers to make three visits before the installation was complete.
Each time his workers (his sons Tim and Ben) had to
