I would use this company any day! When my friend was moving in one week no one could help her, except Chris, Manny and his team at Good Move Movers in Elmhurst Illinois. When they arrived on time and looked everything over the move turned into a Full Pack. They just went with the flow and started packing. Manny set a calm and helpful atmosphere… with his team. As requested, They took her belongings to a storage unit and a refrigerator to her residence. The storage unit company was locked so she bought a lock at Walmart. Manny was able to get into the storage unit, unload and then lock up

I hired Good Moves to help me move from a small studio to a new 1 bedroom at Mayslake Village. I'm 69 years old with COPD and heart issues so I really needed the help. The crew had me loaded and moved into my new place in about a hour and a half total!! They were very professional, friendly, and very considerate. The price was very reasonable and dare I say they made the whole process an enjoyable experience. Recommend them 100%

Our experience with Good Move Movers was exceptional from start to finish. When my Dad sold his home we began by researching reviews of services in the area, and it was time well spent. I called a few companies, but from my first interaction with Deanne in the office as well as my first call with Chris, the owner, I had a very good feeling about them. We used Good Move Movers for our early October move. We used 3 guys and they were done in 7.5 hours. I was shocked how quickly they moved and it was raining. Usually when we have moved in the past, it would go over 10 hours. The guys were on time, moved quickly and carefully and the estimate was spot on. I highly recommend Good Move Movers!

Because of most of the reviews and the feedback from a client, I contacted this company. The man who picked up (found out it was Chris, the owner), didn't say his name or Good Moves, his tone sounded like he was having a bad morning. I explained that my business was looking for reliable movers to partner with. We help boomers and seniors downsize and move. He didn't say much, I asked him why, he said 'I get a lot of telemarketers'. I told him that I wasn't a telemarketer. I gave him my business name. He said 'I know you work for the company, but what do you do?&apos

Our moving day ended about 4 hours ago and I am happy to leave a 5-star review for Good Move Movers. Communication with Chris, the owner, was excellent. I called to inquire about having 2 packers come out about 2 days in advance of the move. He actually suggested that I could save money by just having the packers come on the day of the move. This way I would not incur the travel costs for the packers! I appreciated his thoughtfullness but I knew I would be too stressed out to have the packers come on move day. So we agreed to have 2 packers come for 2 hours a couple of days before the actual

I hired Good Move Movers to do move a very large piece of furniture that I bought on Craigslist. Leading up the move, they were very professional and called several called several times to confirm and make sure I was ready on the day of. I had a few issues on getting the piece put back together correctly, but when I called the Good Move Movers office, they were very willing to send the movers back out to fix the issue. In fact, they came the next day. They had to reinstall the doors and drawers on a really large and nice piece of furniture. It is as good as new now.

After looking for days and reading reviews from multiple platforms I could not be happier choosing Good Move Movers for the biggest move of my families life! We sold and purchased a new home and had many curve balls thrown at us in the last few days before closing. Chris was so helpful in working with us to make sure we were ready to move on moving… day. They charge for truck and per man hour time. The work extremely hard - wrap and pad all the furniture. I always feel like movers try to upcharge for all the little things. They don't. Just the time and cost of the materials and hard working guys that get the job done with out dinging up furniture or the walls. Will use again for every move. Great value - with a great result.

These guys were fantastic - while i was upstairs showing a couple of the guys what needed to be moved, the others were downstairs working. When i came downstairs, i was stunned to see they were done with all the first floor stuff - amazing! I could not be more impressed. Kudos to a great team. They finished the move in less than the estimated time and adjusted the price accordingly. Very happy with this experience and highly recommend Manny and his crew.

I've let the dust settle before writing this review for our move in COVID 2020. We chose them based on a friend's recommendation. Chris is decent to deal with, but here are the details of the actual move that gets them a 3-star review.
Full disclosure, I've used other movers before (with worse results) as well as having moved many times DIY, so I am not a moving noob.
1. Crew showed up 20 minutes later than the 1 hour morning window we were given. We were the first (only) move for this crew that day, so why start late?
2. Guys showed up in a rented truck with no indication

Good move movers was the most efficient moving company that we’ve ever had! We have used a variety of companies coming originally from the East Coast but this company did the best job for the best value! All the guys were efficient and very friendly, and all pricing was very fair and easy! They took the time to take care of each piece of furniture that we had by using plastic wrap and when we moved from our unit to our new house everything was placed exactly where we wanted it! We will definitely use them again!

Good Move Movers helped us move into our new home in Elmhurst this past weekend and we had an amazing experience!
They had to do a pick up at a storage unit first, then come to our apartment, and then on to our new house. They moved everything safely and effectively and also they finished under the time we had allotted!

From my initial contact with Chris (the company owner)throughout the entire process I was very impressed. Chris is knowledgeable and helpful and kindly answered all my questions. He is clearly an expert in his field.
On moving day the crew (Manny, Alfredo and Manny’s brother)showed up right on time and ready to work. They were courteous,professional and energetic! They treated my belongings as if they were museum pieces! They were a pleasure to be with and their work was exceptional. They went above and beyond my expectations

They did a great job inventorying all our items and quickly and safely transferring everything to and from the truck and houses. They somehow managed to fit our extra large dresser up our stairs! Had a great experience with the team! The owner, Chris, was agreeable and answered all my questions before the move. They called a couple days ahead to confirm their arrival, which was appreciated. And the team itself was great! Had a team of three (Carlos, Rafael, Andrew) that worked quickly and were very friendly. They did a great job and made the move go incredibly smoothly. First of all, I loved that the owner picked up the phone and promised me good service. That may sound strange but after calling a few companies, and having customer service reps who were half interested in what i had to say- seeing this personal touch was important.
The movers were polite, fun to talk to, took every request with stride and satisfied all of them. Not for a second did I see that they were slacking. The move was completed in a shorter time than I anticipated which is super important.
Will definitely use again and recommend to friends.
