If you would like a wood burning fireplace they do require a standard chimney. There are masonry built wood burning fireplaces as well as manufactured wood burning fireboxes. Wood burning fireplaces have the option of utilizing a log lighter (gas assist) or, in most cases, can be converted to use gas logs or contemporary gas burner.

Absolute WORST company - do NOT use them. They came to service our fireplace and “fixed” the fireplace only for it to break a week later. They wanted to charge another fee to even come look at it again, even if it was the exact same issue. On top of all that, I had to call 5 different times to even get them to schedule someone to come out. Overall, flaky, terrible service, fireplace still broken.

For the initial purchase, they required partial payment until the unit was FULLY installed. The contractors work independently

Recently, we purchased an outdoor kitchen. The unit consisted of a custom cabinet, searer, cooler and storage drawer. NAF handled everything for us. Due to Covid there was a bit of a delay in some of the parts; however, they made the process smooth and easy. The installation team also did a great job; the communication was great. I would recommend this company and will certainly use them again.

Ordering experience was painless and service/installation was REALLY fast. I essentially sent an email request for info/availability on a Thursday, received follow on questions Friday a.m. and responded. I received a final quote that afternoon and called Saturday to provide my payment information. The installer called Sunday night and stopped by Monday to hook it all up. P A I N L E S S and love the result.

They have relocated their showroom and nothing is set up. We were told to come back in a week and upon return still nothing was set up. They made no apologies. The staff was unhelpful and seemed to not be concerned with assisting us. Also, staff took zero COVID precautions. If you are in the market for anything for your fireplace, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

We just received our custom fireplace door from North Atlanta Fireplace and we are very, very happy with it! David is clearly very knowledgeable and took time to walk us through all options and what would work best for us. He also came out and measured so the fit would be correct. Cornelius installed the door and patched some cracks we had in our mortar. Highly recommend this local Atlanta company for any fireplace needs.

Bought a Napoleon Prestige Pro grill from these guys several months ago. Lacey was more than helpful on the phone with product and warranty info. I'm very happy with the grill and the professionalism i received here. Headed back to purchase a Napoleon FireTable today. I'll update my experience asap. But as of now, i have not seen any of the concerns listed by other customers. Note: I have found this is the only place in town that sells high end grills and didn't charge for assembly

UPDATE: A little follow-up on North Atlanta Fireplace: After being sent numerous requests by the Better Business Bureau to investigate their fair business practices, North Atlanta Fireplace refused to respond to a single one because they just don't care! The owner believes if he just writes a response to an unhappy customer they can sweep it under the rug but take my advice and shop elsewhere!
