Started as Whitaker Builders in 1959 by Robert W. (Bobby) Whitaker and his wife Jean, we've been building quality homes and commercial facilities for more than 50 years. Sons Allen and David have been helping on job sites since they were just 12 or 13, first helping clean-up then learning the entire construction process and earning more responsibility over the years.

Family owned and operated. Its easy to see how they've lasted for over 50 years in Jackson. Whitaker builders ( Mr Allen or David Whitaker can help you out with building your next house or if you just need material for your next project. Stop by cause this is how a hardware store should be !!!

My parents had there dream house built by Whitaker & I have to say they are extremely dissatisfied with the quality of work. Leaking roof, inside water damage, & outside problems. Corners were cut & promises were broken,is what my parents got for there dream home. Do not let this happen to any of your loved ones. Give Whitaker another 50 years to get there act together before you give them your hard earned money.
