Called and spoke with Miles (?) at 3:07p Thursday, ordered what I needed and it was in my yard at 8:50a next day. Took a little maneuvering to get it off to the side where I needed it but the gentleman that delivered was great. Overall great experience from ordering, pricing, delivery and customer service. I just went to the Stone Yard. I needed decorative stone or pavers to create a front walkway. I am clueless with this stuff and the guy who helped me was absolutely wonderful. He walked me around the yard (while keeping his distance and wearing a mask) and pointed out several different options for me within my budget. His suggestion of pavers ended up being absolutely perfect. The total cost to me was less than I anticipated and well under my budget. I would say the employees at the Stone Yard spent about an hour helping me without making me feel rushed. I have never been more impressed with customer

Most unprofessional group iv ever met, RUDE RUDE RUDE . Didn't want to help me with picking out pavers for my house nor did they want to answer any questions I had about them . SIMPLE QUESTIONS ! Like how much are they each and do they have them available. Needless to say I was so turned off by the customer service I left and went to a place in Kingston NH who helped me no problem and got my $3,600 sale!

The worst business I have ever dealt with in my life, from the owner to the employees to the installers. It took them 2 months to come install my posts and mailbox after giving me the run around time and time again. Owner wouldn’t even get on the phone to talk to me. Never ever again would I purchase anything from them. Horrible customer service. Installed my mailbox and posts lop sided not even level. What a disgrace of a business.

Do not use them!!!!I called saturday to order pool sand to be delivered this tuesday. Was charged 253.50. When I found out Sun that the pool wasn't coming, I just called to cancel and they refuse to fully refund me. They are tell me that they can only refund me 190. The rest is a "restocking fee". Wont let me speak to management. No warning of this on their website. I was told "there is a sign on the wall in our office"....I placed my order on the phone and was not told this. They then explain this is to pay the credit card fee. Quite a hefty cc fee! Never again

Ordered pavers and stairs from them. There were several misunderstandings with the orders (because the staff doesn't seem to want to help the average person who doesn't know a lot about landscaping, and answering questions is a bother) and they were not helpful with addressing them. Would not return our calls, and we went in to discuss in person, told us "Not my problem." Good selection and priced right, but I'd rather pay a bit more elsewhere and be treated decently. I will never do business with this place again!!! Stay away!!! My fiance and I ordered one ton of black onyx stones that we picked fron their display inside the store (see pictures attached). Gray slate stones were delivered the next day which were not close to the black onyx stones we saw on display. I left a voice mail and two emails and then called again the following day before finally getting the owner who said that he would look into it and call me back... He didnt call back but emailed me and said that they delivered black nugget stones....

We came here planning on purchasing crushed stone for around our house. My financé came once before to look and he just wanted my opinion of which one to order. They have small samples of the crushed stone inside which are labeled and larger samples outside which are not labeled. We were having a hard time figuring out the names of the larger samples outside and we did not want to order based on how it looked in such a small area. We decided to ask an employee for help to identify a couple of the ones we liked. The employee inside was very nice but he was unable to leave the store but he was willing

Was there recently looking for several stones for my home and patio. Was recommended by several friends and neighbors to go to the stone yard. Boy was I impressed!! The service was incredible. All employees were very knowledgeable and super friendly. Got exactly what I wanted and the lowest prices around!!!!!! Delivery was prompt and on time.

I will never return to this store to buy material. I witnessed the owner yelling at customers in an ignorant and cocky attitude. Over the years all of the employees have been respectful and considerate towards my family and I when we have projects going at our house. The owner, however, is the most selfish and ignorant man I have ever met. He told me in his exact words "to get the f*** out of his store" because I was upset that he was a week late delivering the material when he told me it would take 2 to 3 days. It took a week and a half. I would never recommend this place to anyone else

I purchased a few pallets of large natural rock slab steps for installation in a boulder retaining wall. I visited their yard on a Friday afternoon and picked out the pallets I wanted. Myles (a young guy who works there) helped take my order and coordinate the delivery, which took place the following Tuesday. I conveyed to Myles that it was very important to me that the stone be delivered on time on the day agreed upon, and that it be placed in a particular spot on my property. Recently purchased Cambridge Armour Tech product. They promised a delivery date - never called and delivered the product and dumped in the driveway on wrong date. New construction so the placement/timing was important. I called the office they said they did not know driver had taken the product.????
The install was the worst part - the product was delivered with several CRACKED stones. They said that was impossible. Basically called me a liar and was very disconcerting. Owner is not helpful. Was told a specific delivery date and I would be first Stop at 830 am but nothing and then called back and said noontime. Called back again and said 4 and said it would def be today. Then 5 rolls around and calls to say it would be tomorrow on a Saturday!. So I wasted an entire day waiting for them only to never show up. On top of that they contract mailbox posts installation and one month later my mailbox is still being held on by a bungee cord becaus they broke the bracket. Was told bracket would be in a couple of days. Close to

The owner is not helpful but one of the young men was. We ordered a granite step and were told it be delivered on Wednesday. I called Thursday after no delivery and no update. The owner was not interested in going through invoices to even check if the piece was even ordered.
The following Tuesday it shows up sitting on the front lawn. No call or knock on the door. They could have put the 700 pound granite much closer, even in place but they are not about customer service. We like to buy local but in future it will be worth the couple dollars extra to go elsewhere.

We got some crushed stone here a few times this past summer.
A good selection of size & colors

They also have landscaping bricks and all kinds of cut stone for any type project.
Pay by the pound (they have a truck scale) and they loaded the stone for us in the back of our truck.
Service was ok, uneventful.
Prices fair to moderate.

I have dealt with this business on 2 seperate transactions and definitely will never do again. The owner is very unprofessional and wouldn't stand behind what one of his employees had promised me regarding returns. He also followed it up by saying you'll be back no one can beat our prices. Well Gilbert Block can!
