DK Window Works was founded by Dave VanOsdol and Kenny Yeager. Their motivating belief was that the North coast could benefit by having a customer focused, quality product, dependable installation Glass Company with reasonable pricing. Their plan was to offer the best quality window, door and glass Installation Company on the North Oregon and SW Washington coast.

I was referred to DK because I needed a wood framed window glass replaced. Starting in May, 2021, I have left messages, unreturned. I have lucked out twice and spoke with someone to schedule an appointment - they never showed up. They do not have the courtesy to say they are not interested or are too busy, but I am getting the message.

With so many great reviews, I'm confused why my experience was so different. I had a small double pane repaired and all three visits to the shop were awkward. When my wife finally picked up the completed window she didn't look at how horrible the window trim was replaced - even though the guy told her how hard it was for him to do. When it got home I took one look and swore it was going back but then just decided I was done dealing with them. I really hope it was an isolated fluke but that was MY experience.

While I still give four stars for the service, I have to knock it down to three stars for the price as we had two medium sized (40x40) basic slider vinyl windows needing installation on our second floor (we did all the other windows ourselves but these ones we didn't have a scaffold for and our time is super limited) and it came in at $2,400... Literally double every other quote we got! We were pretty stunned so unfortunately will not be working with them. not sure if they don't normally own their own scaffolding to do a second-floor window and that's why they are charging so much

We just bought a home in Astoria and one of the windows had a broken seal. I call DK and they were fantastic! They provided a very competitive bid, and the installation was quick (15 minutes) and flawless. In addition, the technicians who showed up were on time, polite, and profesional. Highly recommend!

Very poor business practices! Don't waste your time with these guys. They forgot to come to my house to bid the project. Finally they showed up a week late after a called to remind them of the appointment. Then, they send me the wrong bid. Very unorganized and rude people! I guess they are too busy to provide good customer service!

I've come to realize that finding most types of home improvement services locally is very difficult, if not impossible. Phone calls and voicemails, texts and emails that go unanswered becomes very frustrating! Not the case with DK windows. I contacted DK Windows on a referral from a friend. I was preparing myself for more of the same and to my astonishment there was a very friendly voice on the other end of the line. I explained to said friendly voice that I've always dreamed of a beautiful bay window in my living room. I gave my address to the voice and within a day Bob, the owner of the voice

We’ve been using Dk windows for years on our building rehabs. And they go above and beyond helping us come up with solutions to problems we couldn’t figure out. On top of that, they even loaned us some equipment to help move some really large windows. They’re exactly what you think of when you think small town contractors. They’re just really nice people trying to make a living. I appreciate their service.

I had recommended this company to some neighbors who needed a few replacement windows. I had done business with them in the past. While the windows are high quality Mercer, the installation was shabby at best. They failed to flash the installation and used non galvanized nails on the trim. The did not caulk properly and the owner needed to call them back to complete their work. Since this is an installation on the Oregon coast, the use of non galvanized nails will require a lifetime fight with rust. And the lack of flashing, will eventually lead to window failure. Shoddy and inexcusable
