Paver Restoration
Natural stone and outdoor paver areas in North Carolina are subject to harsh weather conditions. The intense summer sun, erosion from the summer rains, and sometimes winter ice/ snow which over time will fade and wear an unprotected outdoor hardscape area. Properly restoring and sealing your hardscape or pavers will keep it looking new and provide a protective barrier from the elements and it's damaging effects.

Pavers and stone are very porpous material and susceptible to all kinds of staining and marking. Oil, grease, pool chemicals, and organic stains (leaf, acorns, pine cones, etc.) that soak into an unprotected outdoor hardscape and patio are very difficult to remove. Sealing your outdoor hardscape patio will prevent the absorption of these stains and retard the growth of algae, mold, mildew and weeds.
Services
Paver Restoration is the Triangle's premier hardscape and paver repair company. We take pride in offering the best products available, our customer service is exceptional, plus our staff is professionally trained to properly clean, seal and repair your hardscape steps, walkways, driveways, patios and retaining walls.
The ICPI- Interlocking Concrete Institute recommends that to maintain your hardscape outdoor living area and protect your investment, you should keep paver joints filled with an ASTM approved joint fill material, and for additional protection use a hardscape paver approved sealer. Around your pool, driveway and patio grill it's essential to protect your pavers from harsh chemicals, oil, and grease with an approved hardscape sealer.
Our certified hardscape staff repaired all settled areas to eliminate puddles after rain events. Then the area was thoroughly cleaned, Polymeric Sand was added and Sealer applied. A small section of pavers were taken up and the trench drain was relocated and reinstalled for proper drainage. The aggregate base was then re-graded to reduce puddling.
Concrete sealers are applied to concrete to protect from the elements and its damaging effects. Aesthetically, there is no question that sealed concerete looks better than un-sealed concrete. However, concrete is a very porous material, suseptible to all kinds of staining. Oil, grease, rust, and organic stains are very difficult to remove from unsealed concrete because they are easily absorbed.

Great thanks to Fred Riedel, owner of Paver Restoration for such an outstanding job on refurbishing our paver patio! It is normal for even very well-built paver patios to experience some wash-out of polymeric sand over many years. When that happens, some of the pavers, especially along the periphery may shift and/or sink. Fred was able to level all such pavers, clean the entire patio of stains, remove old sand, and apply new and seal. He also added cement to the river-stone step that leads from the patio to the back yard. Everything looks fantastic, and I am confident based on the research that

I hired Paver Restoration to clean my patio & porch pavers. The patio was built in 2009 & had never been professionally cleaned so was really starting to show the dirt. Fred did an amazing job as it looks just like it did 6 yrs ago. I highly recommend them if you have pavers that need to be cleaned. Professional, timely & fair pricing.

I have an outside area with a pool surrounded by pavers that is now twenty years old. I searched and got estimates from many companies regarding restorations, and an extension of the current pavers. My efforts were met with comments like "outdated", "they don't make those pavers anymore", and the estimates were outrageous. My last call was to Paver… Restoration. I was met with a friendly face, information on how the job that I wanted could be accomplished, and a fair price. The extension I had wanted was designed by the owner, and was better than anything I had imagined. The construction
