The geological differences can be vast. Commercially - know that marble, onyx and soapstone are typically softer and more delicate. Granite is quite hard and well suited for countertops. Quartzite (not to be confused with manmade quartz) is even harder than granite, but also more difficult to process - usually resulting in a higher cost.

From start to finish, Mario & Son were a pleasure to work with. I stopped into the showroom without an appointment and Connie was able to help me with a quote for new quartz countertops for my kitchen. They had great selections and very competitive pricing. They also offered a sink that was perfect for my application. Communication along the way was always prompt and the template and install appointments were both right on time and the workers were all very skilled and professional. The install turned out awesome and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would give Mario & Son my highest recommendation

We are so incredibly happy with the granite that we had installed in our kitchen. Jeremy helped us pick out the perfect slab and it was installed quickly and efficiently! The cost was very fair and we are so pleased with the finished product. From start to finish Jeremy helped answer all our questions promptly and we never wondered what the next step was. Absolutely incredible experience!! Not only were they very professional, they cared deeply about the finished product and the end results of our waterfall island blew us away. They were able to match the veins perfectly and the seams disappeared which is incredibly difficult for white quartz. I can not recommend this team and Mario & Son more!

My wife and I have waited years to install granite on our basement kitchen & bar. Once we made the decision, there was no other company that could come close to Mario and Son, Inc. Our sales associate Michaela was absolutely amazing. She answered every question and captured every detail all the way to installation. The team that template & install were very prompt and professional. The owners are true craftsmen of the trade and have pioneered a state of the art showroom with a world class fabrication capability (personnel and machines) which was needed for our leathered granite and 6cm thick bar

This place what fantastic to work with!!! I got 3 bids for my kitchen counters and not only were they very responsive, they were the cheapest. I was getting 4 week lead times from other company's and it was like pulling teeth to get the other company to respond, but Mario and sons respond to every email with in 20 mins and I never had to leave a voicemail. From start to finish they were on the ball! Thank you Michaela and team!!!!
