When I reached out to David to install window coverings I never expected what I would find: a true artist and meticulous craftsman. My project was a little big and pretty complicated, and over several visits he figured out better than I ever could exactly what I needed. He did the work in the most exacting way possible, doing things like cutting a drape to match the slope in my floor, and in the end the price was reasonable and the product perfect. Wow! Our experience with Eclipse Blinds was that the quality of the service equaled the quality of the fine Hunter Douglas blinds we purchased. David Payne was professional and showed good aesthetic judgment in helping us select the right blinds for our mountain cabin. He was personable in his visits (a 50-mile drive each way from Taos). His technical skills were superlative in installing the blinds (making them thermally tight and flush with the windows, just as we wished, putting the loop cords on the side we preferred). And he worked within our modest budget to help us find the blinds that were suitable

Having lived in Taos for a number of years, we have gotten used to the Taoseno approach to business--maybe mañana. Our experience with Eclipse Blinds was very different. We called David Payne about a broken cord, and within 2 hours, he was at our home repairing the problem (and for a very reasonable price). It is wonderful to do business with such a thoughtful and responsive businessman in town--a rarity!
