Boston area decorator Lisa Jensen founded Lisa Jensen Interior Design 20 years ago in Lynnfield, Massachusetts after earning a Certificate of Interior Design from North Shore Community College. The same year she opened and operated her award-winning home furnishing and decor boutique in Salem MA, calling it Elixir (a cure for people's homes).
For 20 years Lisa Jensen Interior Design has been THE ONLY interior designer to bridge a gap she identified in the industry between full-service high-end luxury interior design and budget decorating services. We recently welcomed Lisa Jensen into our home for a Design + Decorating Consultation—and loved every minute of it. Prior to her visit, we drafted a list of design dilemmas we were looking to resolve and she efficiently and effectively reviewed, reflected, and responded to each. At the end of our two-hour session, we had a clear game plan on wall color in three different areas, kitchen counters and backsplash, fireplace mantle and ceiling beams, hardwood-floor refinishing, dining room lighting, and a gallery art wall! Definitely recommend Lisa's "Design in a Day!" Lisa spent four hours with us in our home selecting paint colors, choosing fabrics and ordering samples online. We discussed window treatments and furniture configurations in the anticipation of our new fireplace. She was very helpful and had great ideas. Highly recommend.

Lisa Jensen is an incredibly talented designer. We did her One Week Room Design plan for our living room and are thrilled with the results.
We love the room so much now! We have tried so many different things over the 15 years we’ve lived here and we never seemed to spend time in that room. Now it’s one of our favorite places to be.
The really fun thing for me is to see our boys and their friends use their desks and the space. They like hanging out there, and I can be working at my desk or helping them with their homework while we’re all together. Yay for family time! My husband keeps saying
