Working with Melik was a great experience. During the initial consultation, we brainstormed different ideas on how to design a shade sail that would provide enough coverage over our deck without completely eclipsing the view of the sky. He was patient, answered all my questions and was able to work with me on the price and timeline. Malik and his crew just installed our slidewire shades for the top deck of our home. They did a beautiful job and we are so glad we decided to work with Mynt to get the job done. Great service, great product and great communication skills from Malik would best summarize the experience I had with Mynt Awnings. Despite the delay due to COVID, Malik communicated properly so I can adjust my expectations and he delivered as promised. Yesterday was when they completed the installation and it was done so seamlessly and professionally. The materials for the motorized retractable awning and the shade (italian brand) both looked very durable. I'm very happy to have chosen them over the other suppliers that I considered in the early stages of my project.

Amazing! Nearly two years ago Mynt installed shade sails in my backyard. Two weeks ago in the mighty gusty Santa Ana Winds part of the sails came unattached including a huge metal brace that attached to the big Walnut tree in my yard. I called and asked them to come take a look at what needed to be repaired. They came, they fixed and all is well. They did not charge me though I offered to pay.

Initial Google search for an Awning Service lead me to some unpleasant experiences until I was referred to Mynt Awning by a close associate.

This was a REALLY good experience. I can't say enough positive about Malik and his crew. First, Malik is the most professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant young man. He gave me a very reasonable bid compared to all the other companies I interviewed. Secondly, the work was done quickly and expertly. He also was very accomodating about keeping the awnings at his shop when my painters delayed. Obviously I didn't want to put up new awnings and then get paint all over them. Malik was more than gracious about working with my schedule. I would recommend Mynt to anybody wholeheartedly. Do yourself

Yikes! Can I just say how pleasant and easy this experience was! From reaching out for an appointment to the finished project these folks were so easy and professional to work with. Melik returned my call quickly, arrived for the appointment on time, got the project rolling- did everything when he said he would - geez if only every project ran this smoothly! The finished product looks great - four window awnings and a dome awning over the front door- my Spanish colonial looks great! I am happy with the product and the whole process True professionals!

He gave me a great price and once the awning was ordered and ready for installation, he was here with his team to ensure that it was done correctly. With this last heat wave, we decided to look into window and door awnings for our two story Spanish colonial. I have two unique wood patio shade covers and was looking to have slide wire shades installed on them. I contacted and met with two awning companies before I met Mynt Awnings. The first two companies were less than helpful nor seemed very interested in my project. For starters, my patio covers are not perfectly square and have a unique design, meaning the material would have to be custom-made to fit the odd corners. I was in the market looking for awnings for my new business and came across them on yelp. The staff was very friendly and they went above and beyond to help me. They sent someone out later on that day to give me an estimate and to take a look at the property. The advise that was given to me was amazing and definitely helpful. They care enough to offer proper products and solutions for different scenarios and applications. They can do it ALL from residential to commercial or anything in between. They are not pushy at all, they are honest, and they are very helpful. It doesn't rain much in CA, but some of the best use awnings provide is shade, and aesthetic beauty.
